He didn't say much. But I'm thinking...... why's he not saying GET HIM ON BOARD. Like everyone on the team is. Maybe I'm reading into this.

I think Dak answered well.

The problem with all this "We want OBJ" hype from Cowboys players is that OBJ may think he's going to command the salary HE wants to command.

There's an issue beyond simply wanting OBJ, and that's the money issue.

And that is out of the players' hands. That's Jerry's role.

Dak likely understands this so he's probably playing it cool.

I like this response because what if he goes somewhere else. Tell him he can get on the train or get ran over.

Outstanding response from Dak. He talked about adding talent and didn't reference anything that can be looked at as a slight to the other WRs on the team. He also basically didn't discount the fact that he'd be a good piece and then on top of that through in the business aspect of things. Response couldn't have been better...........................................unless he said all that cause Jerry told him to get obj he needed to take a paycut

I agree the response was well crafted.

I fail to see the problem.

If OBJ signs, it will be at a price the Jones will tolerate. It's just money and not draft capital.

If he fails, cut him. No big deal.

If he succeeds, then how could that not add to the team?

By the way, Portnoy's Complaint. by Phillip Ross was a pretty great and hysterical book.

i dont think we're signing him and he used Jerry and Cowboy name just like others before him to just leverage the team for more money

This is ridiculous. Wish they'd all just shut up. This dude is way overrated.

Good answer Dak. If they bring him in, ok. If not, also ok.

He had 288 yards in 4 games in the postseason last year, and was injured in the 2nd quarter of the Super Bowl. He looked like he was well on his way to getting over 100 yards in 2 consecutive games (NFC Champ + Super Bowl). I don't think you can just say "forget this guy" and just roll out the receivers that we currently have when we play the top playoff teams. Stafford needed every yard to get by San Francisco and Cincinnati last year.

Dak is a company man ....... that is why he did not "go to bat" for Dez or Coop.

He is never gonna rock the boat because he knows what this vindictive and petty ownership will do.

...Dak staying neutral and keeping logic in perspective. He knows we have enough juice on the offense to compete.

Be nice to add him, but dont break the bank. Dallas has many free agents next year.
