The whole OBJ thing is ludicrous. Media asking players if they’d like him on the team. So ridiculous. I mean what are they gonna say...probably wants too much money...he’s done and no use to this team?
Players and coaches always pump their own. They rarely if ever throw each other under the bus
I don’t understand why this is a constant topic

He didn't say much. But I'm thinking...... why's he not saying GET HIM ON BOARD. Like everyone on the team is. Maybe I'm reading into this.

Wonder if other teams are advocating this much for OBJ to the media.

Dak is a company man ....... that is why he did not "go to bat" for Dez or Coop.

He is never gonna rock the boat because he knows what this vindictive and petty ownership will do.

I don't necessarily agree with that take but if it is true then shame on Dak

With his contract and standing within the organization he's maybe the one guy who could take stands when needed

Leadership is doing what needs to be done no matter the blowback

I think Dak answered well.

The problem with all this "We want OBJ" hype from Cowboys players is that OBJ may think he's going to command the salary HE wants to command.

There's an issue beyond simply wanting OBJ, and that's the money issue.

And that is out of the players' hands. That's Jerry's role.

Dak likely understands this so he's probably playing it cool.
He did. And understanding his place in the grand scheme of the Cowboys....smart man, IMO.

It’s sad we have to listen to anything Dak says. Most of the time, he speaks like a broken record. It’s coming after our next loss…mark it.

Understand it's a business. So, if someone raises the price too high, screw OBJ.

I've pretty much been saying screw OBJ from the start. 21 games in the last three years isn't a guy I'd pay big bucks to, to bring in.

What I got out of Dak's comment:

Sounds like he's hoping another team, any team, will jump in
and give Odell big money. I mean, he just ran a top WR out of
Dallas. There's no way OBJ will accept 3-4 targets a game.

He ran a top WR out? First off, who did he run off and who was the TOP WR? Cedric Wilson? Sure as hell wasn't Coop.

You again? The culture dude.
Don't kid yourself. Amari Cooper was game planned for.
Lamb played well in the slot but wasn't/isn't the outside guy that "Coop" is.
Amari Cooper is a top WR.

Teams game plan for Robby Anderson…that doesn’t make you a top receiver. Y’all really overhype anyone who leaves this teams I mean it really makes you wonder why nobody but the Browns were willing to trade for him lol.
