What a farce

Not sure who wanted a bunch of no name wideouts but they need a bullet.

This is without question the sadest, sorriest bunch of no hope pathetic sad sacks of dog turd wide receivers this league has seen in decades

And put that with a below average passer who couldn't handle the alpha Male WR and you have this utter shower of dung week in week out no matter how good your front 5 and RB are.

Can them all....

Dak friendly is kind of a loaded term. What it really means is you need generational OL & RB playing lights-out because QB lacks arm talent and have avg ability to read defense. Don't get me wrong, I like Dak fight but at end of day team success usually rides on play of QB.

Need a #1 WR to be Dak friendly. Thus, the offense would have 2 studs instead of 1 to make plays.

Well. it's not. It, outside of the NY game, has used the RPO to good effect. It regularly telegraphs its plays by formation.

So no, I don't quite see how Dak could favor the offense.

Had me until the alpha comment

Dez’s Time was done, but the way that situation was handled helped 82 make up his mind.

Dak is trash. Plays scared in the pocket, his decision making suspect, and his accuracy is horrible.

Please, God. Don't let Jerry give this guy another contract.
I’ve been a fan since 1977. I don’t miss games, I travel from ca several times a year, but I’d stop waThing if dak were given a new deal. I have never..... ever, said that before.

The Jets have had worse weapons the last 5 years.

The problem is when your built to only do one thing on offense and the main component (OL) isn’t working, it’s going to fall apart

I think Witten knew they were going to release Dez and was going to retire regardless of MNF. I think he say that script before and realized who the scapegoats were going to be.

Can’t make expect big plays downfield if you don’t you know throw it downfield !!

To me it seems Tavon can get open and make plays down field but we don’t

passes were completed to 9 different targets ... Zeke gets the most targets ... only 16 WR targets (Hopkins had 13)

Player REC YDS TD TGTS
Geoff Swaim 3 55 0 3
Tavon Austin 1 44 0 3
Rico Gathers 1 32 0 1
Ezekiel Elliott 7 30 0 7
D. Thompson 2 19 0 4
Blake Jarwin 1 11 0 2
Cole Beasley 1 8 0 3
Michael Gallup 1 6 0 3
Allen Hurns 1 3 1 3

that's 16 targets to 5 different WRs for 6 catches for 80 yards, 1 TD, 2 INTs, with only 2 shots over 20y... our starting X, Y, and Z WRs didn't produced 30 total yards
