I don't want to make this a Dak vs Romo thread, let's assume status quo.
Much to my chagrin the last 2 weeks, Dak seems to have been running more, not only in designed plays but breaking out of the pocket when there isn't much available downfield. Other than today, he hasn't been sliding much either (he absolutely could have had a first down if not for a slide today). I happen to think it's one of the biggest benefits in his game - he's big and can run and doesn't seem injury prone, however it's always risky running your starter a lot during the season.
However, with Romo looking sharp today, does this free up the playoffs gameplan to feature Dak running much more heavily, since we have a (very) viable option if he goes down? You have to pull out the stops in postseason, and it seems now is a great time to feature that part of his game in the playoffs when a scrambled first down can be a game changing play.
