I come from a Time where we rode air cooled Honda CR 480s with the kickstarter on the left hand side with compression capable of ejecting you into the air if it kicked back.Pssshht...what grown man wouldn't want an electric moped. Crazy talk.
There was a starting sequence required where you lean the bike over till gas ran out the carburetor put the choke on get up on your cinder block get it at top dead center and let her rip hope you have a riding boot on or expect your arch to be severely bruised
Once it fired to life the throttle was an on-off switch of acceleration that provided Wheeling in every gear broke three Bell Moto for helmets in half on that bike.
There was no such thing as smooth electric power in those days
It's a kinder gentler world now my brother and I have tried to embrace the pusification but the strain is more than I can bear
