Watching him throw on the run accurately again this year leads me to believe the calf injury last year affected him more than what he and the team said about it.
After the injury last year, he couldn't throw on the run as accurately as he has all throughout his career. I'm glad to see that he got that part of his game back.

I said all through the second half of the year that the unwillingness to plant and throw off the injured calf was a sure sign that he was NOT "100 percent" no matter what he said in those press conferences. I've noted many times over the years that he is one of the two or three best on the move throwers I've ever seen. He's up there with Montana and Roger in that department so seeing him struggle with it told me he wasn't. Seeing that aspect of his game come back this season confirmed it for me. Last night was further evidence that dude is all the way back from that thing. I have also always thought that the interception thing was fixable. It was just a matter of his dialing back the aggressive throws just a teeny little bit. He did that last night.. He did make some tight window throws but he was aggressive without being careless. May that continue for the next three games..

This is what he has been missing. If he can continue to become more mobile and make some yards instead of INTs or throw aways he could become what we were hoping to have at 40 mil year! It was so good to see him moving out of the pocket and not dropping back 10-15 yards. Moore needs to design more plays where Dak has option to run and Dak need to do it more than less.

You could see his confidence building with each successive run.
He did that in the eagle's game as well(you miss that win like a month ago ) was also on fire in other games but ok..back no but glad to see him use them more. this is Not daks 1st good game this year,, but glad you are happy ..hes had many forget MN, how he started the bears game, started the jags game & got the 17 point lead , gb built 14 point lead..

We don't need him to be lightning fast, we just need the defense to respect that part of his game.
That way it keeps them off guard.
Yep .. guarantee you that those times he took off caused the backers to have to wait a tick longer before dropping into the passing lanes which created all that room for him to hit the routes over the middle. Especially the ones to Schultz. Dak has never been super fast.. He ran 4.8 at the combine.. which is 2 tenths of a second faster than good offensive linemen. What he is, is very strong and athletic.. Some of the "Git off me b----" sacks he shrugs off are a joy to watch!
