Dak has a new nickname in the locker room

But that they call Tom Brady Granddad ?

Prescott's not 17 prescott's in the top 10 when healthy never had a losing season but the disrespect continues...
Wait....did did you just make fun of Tom Brady's knickname? The guy with 7 super bowl rings? That's rich.

Maybe when Dak stops disrespecting fans things will get better. "just move on" indeed. Insulting.

What happens to this board if the Cowboys actually pull it off with Dak and win a Super Bowl?
I've seen this question before...usually for a shot at holier than thou fan as they add "even that won't make them happy".

I'd love for Dak to give us a chance to show what we would do, not just what HTTF's claim "we" would do to make themselves feel better by insulting other good fans.

I sense more creative nicknames are on the way in this thread.
Ain't no doubt in my mind, I hope Dak has a pro bowl year, with these receivers he just might. And if this running game is legit that increases the chances, I would love to see Dak win a Super Bowl .

Well, the immediate answer is, "He's not going to win a Super Bowl!"

That is probably true. However, "probably true" isn't the same thing as being 100% the only possibility.

However slight, there is a possibility the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. Otherwise, Vegas wouldn't have given any odds to the Cowboys.

So what if the Cowboys win a SB with Dak?

It probably still won't be enough to satisfy some. They will still find a way to criticize Dak in victory as they often do.

A year with Chad Hutchinson, Drew Hensen, Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel, or Steve Pelluer behind center would change a lot of perceptions around here.

Dak may not be in the best group of NFL quarterbacks but 2015, the year before he was drafted, had to be the worse quarterbacking in Cowboys history.
:hammer:

It's really up to Dak. He has MOST of the tools (around him) any other super bowl QB has/had. Can he elevate HIS game...miracle work...inspire others the way a TRUE leader does?

I am also hoping Dak can end this bickering and posturing some people are doing. Just win it dak. And look...if by chance he DOES play heroically in a loss...you will see people give him his due respect.

Yes sir, good post.

It's just a nickname. Keep the thread on track and fun. No deep dives into the etymology of the term.

that my friend is a pretty bold statement and how do you measure that? he has first round picks on the line? I think you and others give far more credit to the QB position. There is no position in sports thats more reliant on others than the QB in football. There are definitely things Dak can do better he isnt without blame but this site is notorious for blaming the QB for our failures when its been a whole lot of factors

we can change the QB and I dont care if they do but the results will not change until this team is complete in the playoffs and mostly that means running the football and stopping the run. I like this offseason better than the last one for sure but there is still alot of TBD

and Dak responding after his injury is just a small portion of it.

Don't blink, its unbelievable he is the longest tenured player but figured it would have to be him or CJ Goodwin.
