2. He never said that it wasn’t bad because it is organic. Just that pharmaceutical companies don’t want people using it as an alternative to some of their medicines.

Of course there are risks to using marijuana. But there are also lots of risks to using prescription pain killers and anti anxiety medication.

But really... let's make the assumption that someone supporting domestic weed growth, instead of buying from cartels is the same thing as growing poisons and killing their enemies.

What? Can't you compartmentalize and separate the ridiculous from the point?
Isn't it better, for someone (especially if it's medically RX'd) to grow their own, rather than buy from shady companies, or worse- Cartels?
Why make it a catch-all? I mean really!

I smoke. You know it, I know it. Nobody on this planet would call me a pot-head though. I keep it, like alcohol, within the range I want.
I don't grow, myself, but I buy from a personal source that I know everything about it's growth and it's right here by a taxpaying farmer. It's safe, high quality and not going to terrorists across the border.
