Dak Has Me a Bit Concerned

As most know, I've been pro Dak since he took over as starter, but I feel like I can also be a rational, fair observer.

That said, his camp, thus far, has me feeling uneasy.

From most accounts, he's not had many good days, and IMO, he does not look good in the scrimmage.

Bad decisions, wobbly throws, indecision…

I know he's a "gamer," and while the scrimmage is not a game, I thought he'd look better than poor.

He's got to turn it on, or this season could be over before it begins.

Uneasy here too...both w/Dak and the young pass catchers. Dak seems to rise up when doubts swirl. They are swirling a bit.

Nothing you can do about it. Even if he turns into a bum, there won't make a change this season.

So I'd say hope for the best, and find something you have more control over to worry about.

This is how I look at it. If he pans out, great. If he doesn't, then there's nothing I can do about it. I don't worry about it either way.

Honestly, I'm at the point where I'm done "worrying" about this team, period. It's not worth the stress. lol

Dak's a gamer. Kellen Moore looked better than him in camp in 2016, then when the lights went on in preseason against the Rams, it was a whole different story.

He played well last year before Zeke got suspended and Tyron got hurt. He will be fine.

He may not be Carson Wentz, but it's not like he's going to be a bum all of a sudden.

2019 not looking like a great QB draft either, my thing is I dont want a cap crippling contract given to him if he shouldnt get it, and I am afraid its on its way.

Smooth? No. Better than this? Absolutely.

No, but he looks like he hasn't played in a long time.

I've read all the reports of him working on his footwork, working on his decision-making, etc. So far, the returns, don't look so well.

Of course, he can turn in on like he has to this point, but he doesn't look good at all, IMO.

Again, I know it's early, and I'm admitting it may be knee-jerk, but he looks like an UDFA right now.

I'm concerned about him as my many posts suggest, but not because of that silly scrimmage. That means nothing.

I need to see him stand in that pocket and deliver strikes 15-20 yards downfield this preseason. That will make me a lot more confident in him. Until he does that, teams are going to just continue to crowd the line of scrimmage and bracket the short routes.

Just have to wait until the actual games. They said that Dak never really looks great in practice. Just have to see and hope for the best.
