Dak has spent the offseason working with GP

Don’t pay any attention to him, when it comes to QB he is ignorant. He thinks Dak is a top 10 QB because he looks at his regular season record but doesn’t realize Daks as bad as the defense when he gets to the playoffs.
The problem with Cowboys fans is that some are blinded by stats and just don't understand what it takes to build a winning franchise. They are incapable of reasoning and just not smart enough to look beyond the numbers. I love Joe Burrow, one of my favourite QBs over the last number of years. I like Dak, I hate the contract. Put either of them on the Cleveland Browns, and the discussion point changes. The simple fact is that the D on this team stinks because of the failure of almost all positions on that side of the ball. To suggest that our is only good because of the QB is just being blinded, and that is the biggest issue I have with some Cowboys fans.

You’re ignorant if you think he is even top 10! Daks regular season stats don’t matter. It’s when he gets to the playoffs he plays as poorly as the defense. And the few times we’ve seen the defense show he has still played poor. Just look at the Packers playoff game vs the Packers regular season game. Big difference when it matters most.

You're right. Dak isn't a top 10 quarterback, but for some reason, he just keep putting up top 10 production every season he's finished healthy.

So if what you're saying is true, then Matthew Stafford wasn't a top 10 quarterback until he got to the Rams, correct?

If what you're saying is true, Lamar Jackson definitely isn't a top 10 quarterback either then, huh?

Maybe you can explain to us how a non top 10 quarterback, manages top put up top 10 production every year of his career that he completed a whole season.... im confused.

Give me examples of other quarterbacks who put up top 10 production every season they finish healthy, but they're not top 10. What are their names?

Dak couldn't possibly be the first one in 100 years of NFL history to do this, correct? Give me the names of other quarterbacks for context....

Dak better hope not! Hes already gonna be paying what 10k plus in child support a month prolly a lot more. Lol

Well, Dak was smart enough to make sure all he has to pay for is JUST his child support and not put himself in a position to get half of his money taken by some broad who didn't earn it.

That child support will be much less than half of his career earnings being stolen.

Were the practicing on the field he built in his own backyard like he did with Lamb and Cooper...

Year 12, using basically the same routes in the same offense he's been running all this time, and still counting, without any competition to push the envelope... You'd have at least expected him to reach a conference championship at least once...

That's highly arguable. In 2023, Dak had those 3 games against the 49ers, the Bills, and Packers were the offense was completely held cold for the majority of relevant time. And in 2025, he didn't have many of those games...... the Chargers maybe but the season was already over by then.

I say he was better in 2025, but the defense was worse.
2025 was his best season by far... A lot of that had to do with the fact they were heavily reliant on play-action that their coach loved to use...

Conference championships are reached by teams and coaching staffs. No player has reached a conference championship because of just them.

NFLN was just talking something similar to this about the NYG trade of Lawrence to the Bengals.
How a defense can affect the QB and offense as if a defense is good or not. Either not good, or if they lose players to injuries therefore weakening them.

They think the Bengals got a great deal.
Because this draft is not all that deep. And they felt they needed an impact player to help the defense. And could not get that at pick #10.
They gave and extension to his 2 years left, and essentially got him for 3 year, $70 million. And a player at pick 10 would have been about the same amount of money.
He starts now and had been a proven player. And is only 28.

Anyway. They said, with the Bengals offense, with Joe Burrow can score but if the defense can't stop anyone, eventually you can't score enough.
With Lawrence, it is huge start to fix the defense. Make a few stops at key times, then what your offense does to score, helps win.

This sounds all too familiar doesn't it? We lived it for our team for years and years.

The Bengals finally listened to their QB and added help on the D....this team?
