will you draft Justin Herbert if he is available a 17? .i watched him a few games this season and all i can say i that he should have come out last season, this bowl game was really poor from him. This is the problem with replacing Dak,you wont be able to do it even if you use a 1st Rd pick.

I doubt there's any QB that could replicate Dak's production in their rookie year on this team.
Dak took Tony's "team". It was designed for Romo.

I’d draft any upcoming QB over Dak. We have to test the waters. Dak has hit his ceiling and like Jerry Jones and Jason Garrett, many people of this forum are settling for mediocrity (aka, Dak). Herbert, Tua, Burrow, Love, Fromm (if he declares), Hurts, etc. We have to take that shot.

Plenty of QB's coming out with all the skills needed to play in the NFL.

Let's not forget that Romo was not even drafted. He could have led the Cowboys all the way like Kurt Warner, if he just had a better defense IMO.

That's completely foolish to say Dak has hit hits ceiling. Have you not seen any improvement from last season to this season? Even some of his biggest haters has seen it.

So you're saying Romo wasn't good enough to win without help.......... wonder why other QBs don't get the same excuse

Yes. I saw improvement, only for that improvement to regress. He’s hit his ceiling, and his ceiling is an inconsistent QB. He improved after getting Amari in 2018, improved again in early 2019, then after the Pats game, proceeded to look like 2017 Dak. Makes no sense to me.

cmon,Dak had a good season ,the only QB in the draft who i think will ever be better than Dak of this year is Burrow and we have no shot at him.

Every QB needs help, especially when it comes to winning the big games.

It doesn't mean, that the defense has to shut out the other team to win. Still have to score points and be consistent from week to week.

He probably could have led the Cowboys all the way had he stayed home and not went to Cabo  and prepared more for the Giants playoff game that they loss back during the 13-3 season! Forgot what year that was but it was back at Texas Stadium.

Because you don't like Dak and want to blame him for everything you can when given the chance.

Romo had a defense that did shut opponents down, master of fact did it two games in a row.

If Crayton doesn't drop that pass on 3rd and long in the 3rd quarter it could have been a different game.

Where was that shut down defense when Favre threw 4 TD's in the divisional round against the Vikings?
How about the divisional round against the Packers, when Rogers threw for over 300 yards and 3 TD's in 2014?

Defense wins championships as the saying goes and the best defense Romo had in the playoffs was in 2007 IMO.

"They" said he hit his ceiling in 2018 and he made a good sized jump in 2019. With more work under Kitna in the offseason Im sure he'll make another jump.

Don't waste your breath. They will never ever understand you. Even if Dak plays out of this world, the moment he overthrows a pass, he will be average to them. Why bother to tell them anything?

Lol. Let's take a chance on another Mitch Trubisky...

We still haven't seen him with a REAL coach and to say the least, with an "unpredictable" offensive plays. Still lots of room to get better.

So what are you saying give Dak 33 million with the tag and hope he gets better...is that your plan then?

You can't just conveniently ignore the money that's involved with Dak coming back.
