ok, this still gets on my nerves.

this is the cowboys organization mentality and perhaps today's NFL. "I am about to have my best year". but you just had a great year and we are 7-9-1. its not about one player having a great year and being proud of themselves. its about the team. the team needs to say we are about to have our best year. I have heard CD say it, I used to hear parsons do it, and its just the whole dang culture....

he is so Jerry now, given how long he has been with Dallas. he is institutionalized (like the shawshank redemption).

I want every cowboys player to just shutup. just go out and prove it with action, results. not words....please don't be a care salesman...like Jerry.

I just hope he has his best playoff year ........ because that is where he falls apart.

He is a very good regular season QB ......... I just do not expect him to take the next step or improve in the playoffs at year 10.

Hopefully he proves me and a lot of other people wrong.

Until Dak proves otherwise... he is just a good Regular Season player to me, and IS NOT in the same league as Aikman or Staubach.

I'm all for positive thinking but - as noted - he says basically the same thing every year. All I did was put a "so what" to it. Otherwise it's an empty platitude.

If Dak does not play better, this year and/or the year's subsequent...it's just more empty rhetoric that you will excuse because he's your pet player.

In other words, his words and results...neither matter to you because you are a cheerleader.

i'm not cheerleading anything and there's no bravado. you're a dullard, you say things that don't make sense, you pivot when it's pointed out, and you can't formulate a decent argument. you're obsessed with dak. you're obsessed with other posters.

1) just shut up and play and stop promising stuff like Jerry.

2) do whatever you can to support building up the defense, including not insisting that the offense needs to spend 3/4 of the cap to win.
