Is it reasonable to say, that whatever the play that comes in to Dak, he has to run it? I'm sure he has some but very little ability to audible, but I think after a couple of games under his belt, he will be trusted to change some things around, what say you?

To some degree, they catered the play-calling to Dak.
They have him in shotgun almost 100% of the time, (where he is most comfortable) and they have Newton-like read options on occasion.
Over the entire offseason they've learned what his best routes are in practice and they're catering to that....as they should.
But pretty much every pass play has had deep, intermediate, and shallow options.

I did see him audible out of plays a couple of times. But it didn't work out on those limited occassions
I bet they give him more and more rope with each game, as he's a bright guy.

He's going to look much better when he isn't constantly faced with 3rd and 8

He looked pretty good for a rook...and he did not lose the game. I'm looking forward to see the game plans they use for the rest of his games.

He was sacked 0 times and turned the ball over 0 times when he had guys in his face the entire 2nd half. Helluva performance from him while getting 0 help from his team

He can change from a running play to a pass play and vice versa but he has no skill yet to change the play completely to take advantage of matchups like Romo.I really caution everybody not to have unrealistic expectations from a rookie Qb,His defense might one of the bottom dwellers and the running game is his only savior and when that fails he is really in trouble.

Linehan doesn't start using Daks skills I'd fire his butt by midseason. Have a guy with great Mobility which causes defenses more grief than anything else use it
