And yet will never come closing to sniffing a super bowl or the Hall of Fame.

Shows how much the game has changed with these QBs getting so many more yards quickly. However, it's also a reminder that Dak has done some good things in his career. Now go win a Super Bowl and move into the top 3! If you don't want that to happen you're not a Cowboys fan.

1. Staubach
2. Aikman
3. White
4. Romo
5. Prescott

It's not that anyone has no desire to see this happen, most simply don't think he can.

7 full seasons
he was a starter in 71 until mid year, missed all of 72 until the playoffs
then 73-79 he played 100 games exactly (14 game seasons thru 77, was sat out final games of 75 and 78)

also fewer plays per game as there was no play clock

I think there was always a play clock in the 70s, just not always displayed.

Not really impressive considering two completely different eras

Roger actually had to worry about getting subdivided by the D and the WRs had to worry about ending up drooling uncontrollably due to DBs with nicknames like the ASSASSIN.

To be blunt todays football more resembles flag football compared to then
Everybody knows that. Don't worry, I doubt anyone's gonna try to claim Dak is better than Roger.

Oh man, you are about to trigger some old timers, and of course the usual haters.
So...you are saying...if anyone believes Roger is the better QB of his day.....it makes them triggered and a dak hater.

I just love the YOU...got pre triggered. Epic.

Today begins the defining era of Dak Prescott as the Cowboys quarterback. Cooper Rush showed everyone how good the Cowboys could be in high pressure situations, and that has put Dak's history of choking in big games front and center.
How Dak handles the next six games will tell if the run game bailed out Rush, or if Dak can really make the Cowboys better when he has to.
It's been easy for Dak to pad his stats playing in the worst division in the NFL; now we'll see what happens when he has everything in his favor and has to produce with the season on the line.
Poor thing’s upset the Cowboys are winning with Dak.

only a moron would not realize that the OP wanted to start something by stating a completely stupid stat
How is the all time passing list for the cowboys a stupid stat?

As i have been stating for years...Dak will own ALL of the cowboys passing records by the time he retires.

Any still won't have anything on his resume other than stats to talk about. No one will remember him within 5 years after he's gone.
