Dak is a capable bus driver against bad teams

3 INTs. In the past two games against the super lousy Colts and Texans?

Our bus driver had 2 Ints. against the worst team in the NFL! Before tha, he was picked off once by the Colts.
What gives us confidence he won't have pick six all day against capable teams such as Tennessee, the Bucs and Eagles?

Blimey, Dak is pedestrian. He's not even close to elite or a least average.

I fear, big time, when we get to the playoffs.

This was my cowboys Blue Kool Aid view. My gut tells me they dont win a playoff game. And you would be correct. But the Bucs are pretty bad right now. 49ers made them look like a college team.

And against the Vikings our defense had 7 sacks, 14 QB hits, 4 pass deflections, and 8 tackles for losses.
Dak did play pretty well, but equally did the defense

And against the Giants our defense had 3 sacks, 7 QB hits, 1 PDF, and 4 TFL
Dak went 2 TD / 2 INT

Dak is “only” 18-24 against teams with winning records…I understand this argument…but it’s kind of flat for several reasons:

• Many great QBs have losing records against winning teams
  • Aaron Rodgers is 41-44-1 against teams that finished the season with a winning record.
  • Eli Manning was 32-77
  • Drew Brees was 49-65
  • Kirk Cousins is 10-40
  • Matt Stafford is 11-72
  • Josh Allen is 12-15
  • Pat Mahomes is 10-6
  • The GOAT Tom Brady is 74-48, but he’s a huge outlier.
• Only a very select QBs can ever carry a team on their backs to playoff wins or even a consistent record against good teams. Brady, Mahomes….Big Ben was somewhere around .500 against winning teams. Dak is a good, NOT great QB.
  
• Most teams- certainly the Cowboys- are not built around Dak. The Cowboys have to win as a TEAM, not as the QB goes. Sure, we need Dak to play well. But not carry this team.

We are 10-3 and Dak has been the best QB since he came back from injury. You'd think with all this Dak/Cowboys hate that we would be 3-10 and Dak ranked last in every QB statistics. For some reason winning sure does bring out the non-Cowboys fans around here.

I don't go on any other board besides this one, but I would bet money that fans of Bills/Chiefs/Vikings/49ers and the rest of the winning teams don't bash their team like so-called fans here do.

Dak is statistically the 19th best QB in the league based on QBR. This is consistent with the eye test as well. He is AVERAGE and that's at best. He has flashes but he can't sustain anything and it's been 7 years so that ain't gonna change, in fact it's only gotten worse since his best season.

With Brady even the other QBs you have to take into account how the other side of their team played. Brady has a defensive minded coach in Belicheck that surely pays dividends to all those wins

Dak is good, he is not great. That is due primarily to his inconsistency. If he could clean up some things and play consistently he could be elite. Problem is 7 years in he still hasn't. Will year 8 be different? How about 9 and 10?

you don't have to watch if you are scared. nobody is asking you.

actually you can go root for another team if you want. you already kind of are, given you root for cowboys to lose. you just haven't picked another team yet. so pick already
