Not a fan of Dak in the slightest but some of these people worshipping Jayden Daniels are some of the silliest posts I’ve ever seen!! Jayden Daniels is the new flavor of the month and he isn’t that impressive. Once teams and tape catch up to him, he’s going to regress. I love myself some Kirk Cousins and Josh Allen, but Jayden Daniels? Commanders might make the playoffs and maybe even will have a two year run for the post season, but besides that? Please. Lets go Cowboys!!

When history lacks success, hope provides optimism.

Every new quarterback that performs well will be loved by their team's fans and envied by fans of other teams who have failed to win championships.

If Jayden Daniels continues to play well for the next several years, but his team fails to reach Super Bowls he will be lumped in with Kirk Cousin, Dak Prescott, Josh Allen, Justin Herbert, etc. quarterbacks just like each of those players.

In professional sports, you have to win championships or continue to improve every year toward that goal.

When a team peaks or regresses, everything gets questioned and eventually doubt sets in.

He's better for the moment and for the excitement he's bringing. Dak has achieved much more than he has, it remains to be seen if Dak can get more. On the other hand there was this thing around here all summer that if we got rid of Dak that basically no rookie QB is able to come in here and make us proud, like he has to do bad because he's a rookie and we'd be losing our starter for the last 8 years!

Rookies can be gosh awful, and some can be really really good. It was just made to seem that they can't do anything good for a franchise!

No. The league usually needs a year of tape before figuring a quarterback's weaknesses.
Same thing happened to Dak. He was fire his rookie year.
Then, NFL coaches had a year's worth of tape and picked him apart.
I like Daniels' start, but year 2 will tell more of his tale.
Dak has way more experience than Daniels. Dak's better at this point.

Never liked the Commodes ever since theismann and the hogs. Beating them is always an occasion to rejoice as far as I'm concerned. Go Cowboys!!!

Like what reality said above...Daniel's the new flavor of the month...it may stick or it may fade...way to early to tell. This was not different than Hurts two years ago, RGIII, Trevor Lawrence, or Justin Herbert...and the list goes on and on.. .until he does it several years in a row and continues to progress further and further in the playoffs, it's just fools gold. Yet every fan will wish he was their QB (except KC fans), until he comes crashing down. Wait to see if defenses figure out his weaknesses. This is what gets me about the Dak Haters or the Romo haters, they way over performed their draft status (or no draft Status for romo)... both were held back by the GM, coaching, and poor defenses (note the majority of SB winners had strong and effective defenses).

you must be on Jerry’s payroll

Don’t be so selfish! Tell us how to get on his payroll too! I can sprout naive nonsense for thousands and millions too!!

Gotta give it three years seen way too many one year wonders
RG3 was ROY but then the league caught up with him. He got hurt too but he was never a super star. Daniels will be scouted hard in the offseason and a plan will be put together for him and things will change.

Maybe. Why do you feel the need to start a post about it? I mean, mostly vets are better than rooks. Have you watched him? I haven't, so I don't know.
