On our last drive where he was under pressure and got the ball off to Witten, Romo would have gotten sacked on that play.
Those are plays I'm afraid of going back to Romo. Dak rarely takes sacks. Romo was taking sacks in the ALWAYS mentioned 2014 season. I'll sacrifice Romos big plays for solid, slow plays and reduced sacks.

I'm not joking when I say this. I always think we have a chance with Dak. Nothing against anyone else. I think this kid is just special... Just keep doing what you're doing as an organization with this kid.

I had no doubt he was going to lead them to a win, even with 42 seconds left.
That's how much confidence I have in him and the team.
I think Romo is a great quarterback, but I always feared that he would throw a pick or fumble the ball because for all his talent, he's like Brett Favre.
Dak is more like Tom Brady. He methodically drives down the field and rarely makes mistakes when the game is on the line.

I think Dak had some nice throws at the end of this game. Had some zip on his passes.

But sadly, like every freakin' week it's the tale of two for Dak. His noodle arm early in the game is going to get us killed at some point.

Great game by he and Zeke late though.

I was more impressed with this game than his comeback against the Eagles.
This has to be trolling. Nobody believes he has a noodle arm.

Dak has thrown for over 200 yards in all 9 of his starts.

Ben got his 9th 200-yard game in his 21st career start.

Thank you for that information, but Ben was impressive in his rookie season leading his team to 15-1.
Saying so doesn't detract from what Dak is doing.

He has had quite a few throws that seem to take forever to get there. Particularly, the mid-range passes. He has a strong arm but it doesnt always show.

No it doesn't, but my point was that Roethlisberger was basically a game manager early in his career.

I think he just does not like to overthrow the ball. Notice how the ball is not bouncing off of TWill like it did last year with Weeden/Cassel? It's because Dak has better touch on short/intermediate throws.

There are throws where he shows excellent arm strength. I have zero worries about it.

There were a couple of plays were he threw off his back foot. He actually got away with one with a nice dart to Dez with great anticipation for a key first. There were a couple however were he didn't get his feet set and balls floated. This he will clean up I'm sure. Having said that, for the majority of the day this was his best passing day imo. Balls came out crisp and accurate on ropes with zip. The deep one to Dez may have been his best of his young career. The pocket presence, keeping eyes locked down field, resetting...dime! That's a big time veteran throw!!!!

Why and how could anyone remotely criticize Daks play? I don't understand that, last year we suffered miserably with 3 backups to try and replace Romo...he's a rookie learning arguably the toughest position in professional sports and we are 8-1 under his guidance, he's only thrown 2 picks all year, he's fumbled a few...enjoy Dak, we deserve it...and he was slated to be 3rd strong this year, I would not trade him for Wentz at all.

According to NFL.com Dak is kind of the AntiWentz:

"Carson Wentz has struggled in the fourth quarter and overtime this season, which is especially problematic because all four Eagles losses have come by seven points or fewer. His passer rating in the fourth quarter and overtime is 66.3. He's the only quarterback to start at least five games and not have a fourth quarter/overtime touchdown. You need that garbage time, man!"

Wow, life is weird. 2016 has been a VERY strange year.

OMG please stop. Just enjoy this amazing win by an amazing QB. Big deal about some noodle arm. It surely didn't affect the outcome of the game and that is what is more important than anything else.

B b but it's because Lame Johnson is out......it's because his receivers drop every pass.......it's because he doesn't have a top run game....

Sometimes, despite it being rarely so, there are QBs who appear to be at their best when confronted with times of stress. Staubach had a knack for performing at peak efficiency whenever things seemed pretty hopeless. Evidently, Dak Prescott was cast into that same mold. He's has proven it against the Eagles and again Sunday afternoon vs. Pittsburgh in the 4th quarter with mere seconds remaining on the clock.

It should be comforting for the team and their fans to realize that anything is possible with this guy at the helm. I'm sure the entire team sees that by now. There's obviously a reason why these players look to him for leadership and "have his back" as they do. Much like "Captain Comeback," was, Dak's just a winner. I'll bet Roger is smiling, knowing as much.

Who is the best QB in the league now. Is it Brady who just lost to Seattle? Okay, Ryan who just lost to philly? How about Palmer who threw 2 interceptions yesterday?

Talk about Dak all you want but this rookie QB has us as the top team right now, he put up 319 yds, 2 TDs, 0 int, 121 qbr. While the greatest QB ever threw an int, zero TDs, and a 90 qbr playing at home. Yeah, Brady.

Get on the Dak wagon or get left behind.

It really is amazing how well he handles pressure.

Through 9 games, Dak has thrown for 2,339 yards with a 66.8 completion percentage and a 106.2 passer rating. Very impressive indeed!

Those stats are nuts.

It frustrates me when people say he's inaccurate. He has a few bad passes and certain ppl tear him to shreds. Yet after nine games, Dak has completed 66.8% of his passes. And we don't run a dink and dunk offense. The stats literally prove that Dak is accurate, but we have people on here saying he's not. They can't see the forest for the trees.

There is a ton to gain. Dak could finally relax knowing it's his job.

I think his question stands: why do you want Dak doing anything other than what he's been doing? I wouldn't change a thing. If he hasn't been relaxed I don't want him to relax.
