I think Dak is growing into one hell of a quarterback. Reminds me of how Romo was rebuked in his early years and he became an amazing quarterback toward the end of his career, shortened by injury. Two different style quarterbacks but capable of overcoming adversity in games.

Ypure just easily fooled this qb isn’t capable of overcoming adversity. He’s capable of padding stats and fooling people like you though. He is average average average. The only thing he is growing into is an average qb and showing how many fans are easily impressed by padded stats

So agreeing that 33-35 million is the value for Dak but just not agreeing to the length of the contract is "treating it like trash"

I will take that kind of garbage all day long!

the contract amount doesnt seem to be the sticking point its the Time, team wants a short term ie normal 4yr type deal and Dak wants more guarantees with a longer contract..

im sure it will get to a middle ground soon..

If Dak wants to win a war he better start dog so by putting up numbers like he did the first 3 games against the Vikings, Rams, Pats, Bills, ad other top Ds coming up very soon..

I mean these teams will do one thing in their game plans, stop or slow Zeke and say Dak go beat us , lets see how he plays without a strong running game..

Well since half the people say he’s good, and half say he isn’t, I’m not sure how he’ll prove EVERYONE wrong?
I think he means only the "bitter" half are in that group. :)

I am not part of that half by the way.

This thread should be in the Overtime Zone or something. This is nothing but a flame bait thread.

How is it we are labeled as Dak haters or anti Cowboys fans when we say Dak is average???? We are not saying he sucks.

Only a true Cowboy hater supports the front office backing up the brinks truck for Dak. They know what will happen. We will have to say goodbye to a lot of good players and the Cowboys will lose games.

Time & time again Dak has proven that without an AMAZING supporting cast he does not play very well.

The salary cap has been around for almost 30 years. EVERY time a team pays obscene amounts of money for a player than every time they lose the supporting cast around them.

Dallas still has a lot of holes on Defense. The Defense is way overrated. In my opinion the Defense kind of sucks. It was exposed against the Colts, Rams, Packers, Jets, etc. They have no run stuffing DT's. There safety play is a joke. The DB's cannot play the ball and create turnovers.

If the Defense does not get better in a hurry it will be a bad 2nd half of the season.

I’m getting tired of the front office talking about Dak’s contract like it’s a piece of trash.

Why does it seem like all the local Dallas media along with the national media narratives lines up with the front office?

Dak is going to prove everyone wrong, and he’s gonna rub it everyone face including Jerry. This is WAR, and he’s going to win the battles and the war.
:dance::dance::dance::dance:

Unfortunately for the Dak haters, he already has. Next!
