Dak is just a regular season stat QB nothing more

Facts> feelings? Dak is top ten ALL TIME in a number of QB categories. Your position is wholly feeling based.

Dak has always had similar talent to other top QBs. All of them struggle when the WRs aren't healthy, or the oline is not pristine. Even Mahomes, who Dak has been better than 2 of the last three years

Top ten all-time in padded-pocket stats doesn’t magically make you elite. Dak’s numbers shine when the team carries him — playoff pressure tells a different story. Facts > feelings.
 
Dallas certainly didn't lose because of Dak last night.

He had some issues, but he was nowhere near the reason we lost.

He's better than some give him credit for and worse than some make him out to be.

Fwiw, stats like Passer Rating or Completion % really need to be era-adjusted due to massive rule changes, etc.
Otherwise, we have Mac Jones and Teddy Bridgewater in the top 10 or so all-time in some categories...lol

But even if you properly era adjust, Dak does still end up in the top 35-40 or so.... which is nothing to scoff at.

Guyton was out. And his replacement sucked big time last night! Plus Detroit lineman were rushing like Dave Campbell was going to beat they but personally after the game if they didn't! hehe lol :grin: :lmao: :banghead:
 
Some of those sacks were on Dak. At times he was very slow to read and feel the pressure with the pocket collapsing. The backward pass was embarrassing. The missed touchdown throw to Lamb was a back breaker. It was an easy throw for an NFL quarterback. I appreciate all quarterbacks miss throws but it does seem Dak misses those when it matters most. He normally makes that pass yet not last night.

Other people didn't help. Ferguson was arguably the Lions' best player! Dear me what on earth was he doing with that face mask penalty. Needless and it cost a touchdown.

I think there's a lack of brains within the team. So many deadbeat dumb decisions have resulted in countless penalties this season.
 
Gentlemen, the game was lost in the trenches and bad plays by Ferguson.

Dak is the first quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to wins over the previous reigning Superbowl teams within 4 days. Those games mattered.

Dak also played good enough to win against another good team yesterday when it mattered.

So I'll respect you enough to not accuse you of lying, but can you please explain why your statement doesn't line up with real life logic?

I'll patiently wait for you to make what you said make sense according to what happened in real life.

Dak only plays as well as the team carry’s him. His first three years in the league he had a top 10 all time offensive line and a great RB. Then they added a prime Amari because in 2017 and the first 6 games of 2018 he was just plain crappy.

He has the stats he has purely because Jerry and Stephen are inept. Other teams would have started looking for a new QB after 2017, but they won’t admit when they’ve made a mistake. I’ve never seen QB get a longer leash. When you play for 11 years in a terrible division your stats are going to get racked up. But, any game all is not going well he struggles. He is what he is. The Jones are fine with that.

Every game is a test. The issue is that you guys declare the test over after a week 8 win.

The whole point of a test is that you can REPEAT YOUR RESULTS. It's a test of your ability to repeatedly and consistently call upon the answer under some pressure. How is the next game not also a test?

LMAO....Dak is Dak. Romo was Romo. Troy was Troy-Roger was Roger. What was the difference between the first two and last two??? The last two had REAL coaches with great coaching staffs. So, keep making these worthless Dak threads. The next Dak-Romo will be here in a few years. Without real coaching going forward you can have Mahomes here. You'll have better quarterback play. But you won't have any better team results. We need a great coach with an experienced coaching staff around him. Schotty is Jason Garrett 2.0. Five years from now we'll be right back here seeing another Jerry puppet hire and seeing another young quarterback career ruined.
