The 43% is accurate, but you touched a bigger point. Neither QB has been good on third down. Paging Kellen Moore.

Who is calling these plays? Not just on 3rd down, but 1st and 2nd? 3rd and 2 is a lot easier to get than 3rd and 7.

Ah, i was only looking at 3rd down.

Yes, dinged for two picks that just happened that we all know was not on him.

It's more than the 2 picks, though. Dak, Rush, Moore, whoever, the Cowboys have to get better on 3rd/4th down. Every time they fail the defense has to go make a stop.

This is a good point. Dak's 3rd/4th down percentage only tells a part of the story.

What's his 1st/2nd down completion percentage?
What's the average yardage needed to get a 1st down on these 3rd/4th down trys?
Why is that average yardage number what it is?
Is it coaching and/or offensive play?
Who is calling these plays?

I get Dak "critic's" like to cherry pick a stat that fits their narrative and move goal post, but yall only criticizing and blaming a cog in the poop machine called the Dallas Cowboys.

It's interesting that yall yell "EXCUSES!!!" when a stat doesn't fit your narrative, but when they do... it's 100% complete truth and other fact or stat matters. Hmm interesting...

If Dakota stinks it up against Minnesota, who's with me with seeing Rush again? It's unlikely they would make a switch with the short Thanksgiving week against NYG, but one can dream! I've seen enough of Dakota Rayne.

The problem is any game Rush can win Dak can win and any game Dak can win Rush can win.

We need a qb to win the tougher games. Both the current Dak and Rush are middle of the road and win when defense shows up

in big moments, in big games, and against good teams. He folds like a cheap tent in any of those situations.

it wasnt always the case.we used to be great in converting 3rd downs before his injury, everything has gone completely to **** since his injury.

Use Rush on 3&4th:muttley:

Rush is actually worse on 3rd down at 44.4%. He's actually really good on 4th down at 71.4% (5 for 7 attempts) which is #3 for starting QBs.

And on 4th down Dak, Lamar Jackson, Daniel Jones, Grappolo, and bunch of other are all at 0%. And Joe Burrows is just one spot above those guys at 16.7%.
For context, on 4th down Dak had 2 attempts for 0 completion and Burrows had 6 attempts for 1 completion.

His 1st down completion percentage is 64% which is middle of the pack for starting QBs and actually one spot better than Kirk Cousins.
His 2nd down completion percentage is 76.6% which is #1 for all starting QBs.

They also need to figure out why the offense simply goes missing through long stretches of the game. That again leaves the defense out to dry.

The Dak homies keep telling everyone that Dak is going to set records. I'm pretty sure this one wasn't one they thought he would break.
Don't forget the big record... we WERE 195-0 when leading by 2 tds in the forth.

Of course, when the WR reads one thing and Dak reads another, the WR is always wrong b/c Dak is so great at reading and reacting to coverage.
