He's our guy, like it or not. I know some love it and some hate it, I like it. Gonna root for him and let Jerry worry about the cap, I can't control that!
My biggest concern is what am I grilling for the first game!! Salud!! Let's move on to the draft and free agency.

Exactly, let’s move on to FA and the draft. I’m happy for Dak and the team. I can’t worry about 3-4 years from now, just focus on this upcoming season.
 
Ranch, I will judge this off-season soley on Jerry, Stephen and Will's ability or lack of ability to build a middle of the pack defense.

Signing Dak was a given because without the Dak contract drama nobody would be talking about the Cowboys.
 
Yes you are right... like it or not, time to get on board and root for the Dallas Cowboys. I for one love Dak, but hate the money he commanded/received. Our biggest problem is the culture of this team, and the defense followed by some holes to fill on the o-line. Hopefully we can address the latter two in the draft. But until the culture is fixed in Dallas it doesn't matter who we get!

I don’t like it and think we are screwed. However I am a Cowboys fan and he is the QB so I hope for the best for the team and the fans.
 
Unfortunately, McCarthy also seems to be our guy, like it or not. Dak, yes. McCarthy, no.
 
The problem in Dallas is not Dak. Money aside he is one of the bright spots. Talented and a good guy. The cap hit for Dak wouldn’t be as much of a problem if GM Jerry didn’t waste money on Zeke,Smith and Cooper. I wish Dak had a more cap friendly deal but I am glad he’s our QB. Now that’s done Dallas needs to fix the defense. If they can’t do that Dak won’t matter.
