Never let players off the hook for throwing garbage passes JMO. I'd love to see all of y'all catching passes when your momentum is going one way and the ball is short. Its not as easy as y'all make it seem and that's why passes that are behind aren't as easy to catch as ones on the money. Then add in the fact this guy isn't a receiver I'm not shocked he dropped. Its upsetting but I put more blame on the QB to make the catch easier for the non catching player. Maybe we need a better catching fb.
I did not say the catch would have been easy. I said the pass was catchable. The pass itself was average and made it difficult to catch. However, the level of difficulty was on the low end of that particular scale.
Athletes' coordination improves as they grow towards adulthood, although the degree of eye-to-hand coordination can vary widely from player to player.
I have sat through many high school games. Cannot say the same for college but sat through many on my living room couch. I have seen that redzone play attempted many times. Saw perfectly thrown passes juggled and dropped. Witnessed wide open backs, ends and receivers never have a shot of even diving for the ball after the pass was thrown completely off target. I have seen players, even fullbacks, stumbling and bumbling as Madden used to say, haul in catches like the one thrown by Prescott and watched he and his teammates laugh running off the field that he managed to flop over the goal line for the touchdown.
Amateur football can be both fun and frustrating to watch sometimes. It has that in common with the professional game. Usually the former displays lesser player coordination than the latter though.
Ha. I posted a video of Strahan, who also mentioned Prescott should throw more accurate passes, commenting about Olawale's coordination attempting to catch the pass. That would make a funny animated gif. A gif showing what Strahan did though, not what Olawale actually did. Sort of a off-timed Garrett clapping, lol.

Bradshaw nauseates me sometimes but that was a good one.
