He's always said the right things. He'll be a good coach someday.
"using my running ability"
Could be hints of better self awareness.
Blah blah blah. Hey Dak are you gonna stop running to the left, you do realize your right handed.
Why can't he be his own QB coach then?
All I can say is, "do it then talk about it".
How about winning a game with some authority?.....please!
If our RT could stay in front of someone maybe he could
I like that!
Lol now its our right tackle.
Dak is a company man through and through
He knows jerry will pay him to be his yes man (just like Garrett) and he will get paid
We do hire back up QBs to be coaches and Dak does have the talent to be a back up
Dak only way you will shake off the critics is do what no Dallas QB has done since Aikman. Good luck and I'm pulling for you.
If only he could throw a football....
Another thing he said that made my eyes sparkle.... :
"Next time if I'm in that situation and it just doesn't look right. I'm just going to have to take the game into my own hands."
(i.e. run or change the play)
(i.e. Romo did it and I will too Lineclown)
Dak hasn't had the benefit of better coaching and support nearly to the extent that Luck and others have had this year. He'll improve, given time with the surrounding talent and coaching to make it so. If not, he'll eventually be relegated to the status of backup. I'm pretty sure that many of us would be gratified to see as much. Patience isn't one of our most notable traits as fans, after all.
Guys like Andrew Luck and Jared Goff have come a long way in terms of their improvement with the proper support. Dak should rightfully be afforded such an advantage! How many of us can wait for that to happen? The Cowboys' front office is slow making changes -- I think it's really a shame that Dak's paying a heavy price for that! Maybe they'll wake up in the offseason. It's obviously high time that they do, judging by our limited production.
I don’t dislike Dak, and I know he’s just answering questions, but I just wish he’d play like he talks.
Always says the right thing, but the play doesn’t always mirror the talk.
As usual, off the field he says and does all the right things.
On the field, not so much.
Sunday's play will stand up to the talk.
I'm sure most of us hope so, Blue! Dak is operating under less than ideal circumstances, no doubt. I hope he vindicates himself.
Oh poor Dak. Poor poor Dak .I apologize continue I hadn't realized there was such a rational explanation . For such stupidity.
