Twitter: Dak is ready to go. Talks CeeDee and Pickens

Apparently talk while repeating ad nauseam every cliche and buzz word you can think of.
I mean, seriously, what is he supposed to say? Every QB says the cliches. It's part of the position. Plenty of things to be critical of Dak about but it's disingenuous at best to nitpick him over standard answers. He's never a problem or a distraction.

A far more versatile passing game than last year.

Not only is there a legitimate WR2 but there will be some competition for WR3 and WR4.

Add in the type of RBs preferred by the Cowboys this season. They want pass catchers and Blue will add a dynamic element to that.

I expect a rebound from Jake Ferguson with more involvement from Schoonmaker, now entering his 3rd season.

The Cowboys began some improvement on the O-line late last season and there is no reason, barring injury, to believe that they won't keep improving. Booker appears to be the plug-and-play type that you would expect from a top pick in the 1st round.

Defenses will have to respect the run far more than they had to last season. This will obviously help the passing game.

The defense will improve; there is really no other direction to go but "up".

Besides that, they will have the advantage of an actual DE squad stocked with premium picks. Sacks and subsequent takeaways should keep the scores closer and that is an additional benefit to the Cowboys offensive passing game.

Everything hinges on the health of Dak Prescott. The probability that Joe Milton might be some type of Staubachian savior is exponentially fractional.

Time may have worn on some of Dak's physical abilities, but he is a student of the game. He knows that he has a good cast of teammates and just needs to get the ball in their hands.

My big concern with that hammy is how it responds week after week when it gets into the season. Of course he will be fine in camp. No one is even breathing on him.

I really hope it doesn’t happen but anyone who has ever hurt any part of their body knows how it’s more susceptible from that point.

Let’s be fair here….this team has a chance to compete if Prescott is healthy, but the season is toast if he goes down at any point. See 2020, 2024.
