Some people here want to make him out to appear as worse as possible. But let's not act like he doesn't know how to win in this league. He's beaten just about every team in the league. I get that "only thing that matters is winning in January" bit, but let's not pretend like he's so far off from the conversation that it's incomprehensible he can have a career turnaround.

His career is not in the pits like some people try to make it out to be... it's simply struggling right now.

I think if he would've beaten Rodgers in 2016 and had just one of the last 2 San Francisco games .... he'd be considered elite. Those 2 guys are his primary career Achilles similar to Manning with Pittsburgh and New England for the first 10 years of his career. Rodgers is gone, so..... one down.

Oh yah……another 12-5 season winning a playoff game finally. We’re really struggling.

No the cowboys are not struggling but dak did struggle the back half of last year especially with the interceptions ….he did play his best game of the year against Tampa bay….but he certainly has opportunity to clean up the issues which he hopefully can

You're either a Cowboys fan or a Dak fan at this point.

You can't be both.

Because any Cowboys fan can see Dak will always find a way to fail and any Dak over Dallas fan don't care if he fails or not.

Pick a side.
Do you think he will throw as many interceptions next year?

He's a bum.

I know you're just an overly emotional guy on a keyboard, but your definition of failing is a fail. Fail.

Dak was pretty average last year but I don't see a path at upgrading the QB position for the 2023 season.

If his fragile body can play a full season at this point he 100% throws at least 15 INTs.
I don't think he will. With the addition of Cooks (a real Amari replacement) and assuming they draft another TE and another lineman or two, I predict it will be more of a 2021 season for Dak stats wise. He was not comfortable with gimpy Gallup and Clifford Franklin last year, it was obvious and should've been to even the biggest Dak haters (like you)..

That's not true. He spanked the Giants, Vikings, Bucs, and Eagles. That's 4 out of the 6 opposing teams from the NFC that made the playoffs. People just want to look at the 49ers game and his 14 INTs. It's always the same thing with Dak haters. Using one or two things to degrade him completely.

2016 wasn't his fault. He did enough to win against GB. That was more on the defense. However, he choked bad 2 years in a row against SF. The last time he was the main cause for the loss. The past couple of years his issues have been mental and he's making rookie mistakes toward the end of the season and in the post-season. He had plenty of time in the pocket against SF but laser-focused on his targets rather than go through progressions. He's not going to get better. It's been 7 seasons and it's a habit he picked up since his rookie season.

I hope he overcomes it, but I don't think he will. He's become a choke artist. It is what it is. You can say "if this happened or that happened" all you want, but at the end of the day what happened happened and he choked.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't use an early round for a QB to sit behind him as an eventual possible replacement.

I don't hate the guy. I hate the fact that he led the league in picks despite missing 4 games.

Against the 49ers, he couldn't raise his game after Pollard went down. Put the team on your back and win the game. That's what you need from a franchise QB.

That does not make him a bad QB. But he falls short of being THE guy required to win it all. He's almost 30 years old. At this point he is what he is

Sorry for being ignorant but what is "account bet"?
Let's say...

Dak throws for at least 4,400 yards (less than 2021), 35 TDs (less than 2021), and 12 or less INTs (more than 2021) and I'll never post again.

If he doesn't reach any of those 3 marks you never post again.

How much do you really believe in Dak?
