He's a bum.

You're either a Cowboys fan or a Dak fan at this point.

You can't be both.

Because any Cowboys fan can see Dak will always find a way to fail and any Dak over Dallas fan don't care if he fails or not.

Pick a side.
I pick the Cowboys not the Bash Dak over Dallas side like yourself. People who.want Cowboys to fail because they hate dak. You actually said you want to see Cowboys fail with dak. So there is no argument tou can have.

MountaineerTrollBoy said he's rooting for miserable failure so we can make changes - starting first and foremost with the QB spot.

Imagine someone hating Dak so much he's fantasizing about his downfall. Or he just enjoys the Cowboys being 5-12 awful.

I’d prefer 0-17.

Yes, but how do you know? There have been more than a few above average NFL quarterbacks who, for whatever reason, just lost it.

Some people here want to make him out to appear as worse as possible. But let's not act like he doesn't know how to win in this league. He's beaten just about every team in the league. I get that "only thing that matters is winning in January" bit, but let's not pretend like he's so far off from the conversation that it's incomprehensible he can have a career turnaround.

His career is not in the pits like some people try to make it out to be... it's simply struggling right now.

I think if he would've beaten Rodgers in 2016 and had just one of the last 2 San Francisco games .... he'd be considered elite. Those 2 guys are his primary career Achilles similar to Manning with Pittsburgh and New England for the first 10 years of his career. Rodgers is gone, so..... one down.
Dak, in the final analysis, is not capable of being Elite in the way I define Elite.
I have Zero Hope for an NFC Title Game.
Dak will get behind and throw questionable passes that the Refs will of course not give us the break on.
Dak gives the sizzle, but I keep asking, "Where's the Steak??"

For Prescott, this includes giving him adequate pass protection. The Cowboys offensive line had one of the worst pass-rush win rates last season. When Dak feels pressure, he bolts. It messes with his physique and he doesn’t always hang tough and work through his progressions. Prescott also loves wide-open targets versus throwing his receivers open. Anticipation is not a strong suit for him and that is why route-running specialists like Cooper and stationary targets have been part of the strategy over the years.

You know which routes are stationary? Curl and hitch routes. You know which route Lamb ran a lot in college, the one he was most efficient at in college?

The curl route…

Let’s stop pretending that Dak can make every throw in the book and his OC limited him.

His body is broken down like Romo was at the end of his career.

I hope he leads us to a superbowl this year, like I have hoped every other year, but now I think we need a 2nd round QB selection.

With Dak it has to be...Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

If the Cowboys were smart they would have taken Levis last night.

If the Cowboys are geniuses they will trade up in the 2nd round and take Levis.

They will not do either of these things and failure will follow once again.

Dak is clearly nowhere near the worst QB in the league and 90% of us have acknowledged that

our issue with him is that he hasn’t played well in the biggest games and he hasn’t played up to the salary cap space that he takes up.

Hes INCONSISTENT and Last season Interception title didn’t help how people view him either . Even though Pollard went down in the Niners games the GREAT qbs still find a way to score more than 1 TD

HOWEVER, I still have hope that by shoring up the WR corp ( and possibly snagging a great TE) and reestablishing the running game gives us a good shot at getting to the SB

we just can have him leading the league in picks, although we all know some of the picks weren’t entirely his fault……..just some real talk.

I think he has reached his ceiling. And I don't think it's good enough to get this team over the top.

It's easy to say if he won those specific games he would be viewed differently. But he didn't and he was complete garbage on the last 2.

If romo didn't fumble the hold against Seattle he might have been viewed differently as well. The choker label sticks with you until you finally win the big games.

I know we need to address the QB position both in depth and potential starting position, but this Levis dude was acting like a real fool with the smirks and other foolish antics before the draft.

I hope to get a player with more maturity and humility to lead this team.

Jerry will not use a premium pick on a QB when Dak is still under contract.

My guess is they will look for a huge risk guy here with upside. Somebody that no other team will touch until the third round. It's what this team always does.

But I agree. I would take Levis. The upside alone should be enough to take him at this point.
