I didn't realize this until just now, and I haven't seen it posted here (did I miss it?).

This is the first divisional round since 2004 where every starting quarterback remaining is under the age of 30. And Dak is the oldest of the bunch, at 29 and 177 days.

Mostly just an odd fact, but it does bring me great joy that Brady and Rodgers are nowhere to be seen.

I would love to be able to look back on the Bucs game as the turning point, or maturity line. or watershed moment where Dak takes a huge step up into the elite status and can demonstrate that in game after game from here on out in his career.

The turning point, if there is one, would be this weekend. It would be the furthest any Cowboys team has gone in 28 years, and he'd have done it with 2 road wins.

Currently in the NFC Race we have:

Prescott
Jones
Hurts
Purdy

What drives me crazy is that we either have the best QB remaining, or the worst QB remaining.. depending on which Dak decides to go to the game.

And so many more young QBs already been eliminated. I would absolutely hate to be a middle of the road AFC team right now. You look up and see Burrow/Mahomes/Jackson/Lawrance/Allen/Herbert and almost have to feel helpless.

And Tua if stays concussion free.

I am going to hate to see this board if he does not win this Sunday. My wife and I postponed our 29th wedding anniversary dinner because it falls on Sunday. We will postpone it until Monday.

I can live with it, if that’s the case, the favored and arguably better team won……it would have been losing to the 8-9 Bucs that would have caused a meltdown

I mentioned it in the pregame thread the other day as well. He also has the most playoff wins of any QB now in the field in the NFC with two.

There will be a meltdown regardless (if the Cowboys lose). If it's a close game, there will inevitably be one or two bad plays people can point to and scream about. If it's a blowout, they'll just generally scream.

Think I would have moved it to Sat!

I guess I’m a purist of the game and while I will root against their teams with every fiber of my body I can also appreciate watching them perform like any great athlete.

Believe it or not Dak has the most playoff experience of any NFC qb still left, hopefully that amounts to something.

It's about time. The NFC is in stark contrast to the AFC. The NFC has all workman type quarterbacks, while the AFC has all first rounder golden boys left.

I mean that's everyone of those guys though. Purdy could end up being the best of that bunch this weekend. Hurts could be. Daniel Jones could be. Prescott could be. Unfortunately for Dak, Jones and to a lesser extent Purdy.....gonna have some tough defenses to go against.

All overhyped golden boys. Well the overhyped have all been eliminated except Josh Allen. For the life of me I don't know how he's escaped criticism. He does some of the dumbest stuff in the playoffs....

It's not only his age, he has been showing experience this season. Age in some sense is relative.

Because he's already been baptized. He would drive me nuts if he was on the Cowboys. He's been making a lot of mistakes and has some of the more legendary blunders. Which is why I took Cinci on my bet sheet. I know Allen is good for at least 1 gift.

Speaking of Joe and the Bengals. I know he's good, but can we at least wait for him to finish is 3rd season before anointing him king of kings?
