The power in the division seems to be passing to the Eagles I'm afraid. They get TWO first round draft picks next year, while it seems that Dallas has simply hit the wall with Prescott. I've wanted to be wrong about him but his inconsistency is maddening and NOW he's putting the ball in harms way far too much.

The eagles front office is light years better than ours. They drafted a QB was high. Realized he sucked and traded him for a first rounder and selected his replacement.


Our FO won’t pull that off.

You all need to stop with this. Dak is not choking. He is just mediocre and doesn’t have the ability take a team on his back. That’s it. Dak is Vinny Testaverde, Drew Bledsoe, Mark Brunell, etc… Dak is a middle of the road QB who just isn’t good enough to be great.

Nope.. Moore will be gone and Dak will be in a new offense that hasn’t been tailored to his skill-set. Dak doesn’t have the QB smarts to pick up a new offense and it’s probably going to get really ugly now.

Uh if you think Purdy did anything other than that I don't know what to tell you. He should have been picked at least 3 or 4 times today. I'm not defending Dak but please don't act like Purdy is special. He has possibly the best playmakers in football on his side. And yes Dak was good enough to sit Romo his rookie year.

Purdy went up against a top ranked defense and wasn’t playing scrubs like Dak was his whole first year with a fat superior roster. Zeke was averaging over 5 YPC on first down. Dak was the very embodiment of a game manager. Purdy already goes through his progressions, while Dak in year 7 is a joke.

I think Dallas duped fans with their play against a poor Tampa Bay team…Dak was not pressured the entire game.
He consistently makes poor throws that lead to incompletions or interceptions; both interceptions hurt tonight. I don’t think he threw anything longer than a 15-yard pass the entire night. Once Pollard went out with injury, Dallas became one-dimensional and was done…the defense was gassed starting in the 3Q as Dak couldn’t engineer sustained drives and wasted a strong showing by the defense up to that point.
In addition to the interceptions Dallas had 7 -8 penalties.
I’m sure Jerry will praise Dak, consider the season a success and deem there are no necessary personnel changes.

Also, the fact McCarthy punted irks the f out of me. You have 2:35 left. Then you run the clock down 30 seconds, because your punt team isn't even ready, because they know you should go for it there, because it's 4 down territory. Then, you finally punt and get very lucky to even get the ball back on your 15 with 51 seconds left. And on the very first play of your 85 yard, 51 second drive, your QB almost walks into a safety.

Seriously, if the defense had gotten torched, I could have handled that. But they played lights out. Held a team that was scoring 35 a game to 19. You should have beaten them. Niners saw our offense struggling and decided to take it easy at the end of the 2nd half and then come out and run the clock.

The sad thing is great HOF type players wasted their legacy or future in Dallas as long as they have an average QB.
