Dak Prescott - the main reason the Cowboys lost this game.

- 2 horrific Interceptions
- Underthrew Lamb for a TD on a drive that resulted in a punt
- Got away with a pick 6 on another terrible throw
- Special teams give him the ball on the 20 yard line and...yep only 3 points
- Outplayed by a QB drafted in the 7th round
- Only needed 20 points to win a play off game.

I feel for the Cowboys D. They were elite today but they can only carry dead wood like Prescott so far.

He’s just an average player.
Being an average player is fine as long you accept it and your coaches accept it because you can play & game plan to be a game manager and it can work. The problem is Dak tries to play & our offense is set up as if he’s an elite QB. If he just played like a game manager like Purdy did Dallas probably wins.

Do yourselves a favor and start betting against the Cowboys. Makes these pitiful losses a lot more fun to endure.

Dak got outplayed by Mr. Irrelevant. He needs to be gone.

He had pass that could have ended in a TD if the pass was thrown decently.
Early to 88 and late to 13. The later was really bad. Had 13 about as open as you be in the NFL. Dak threw it to the wrong shoulder....and high..
He misses lamb twice. Got bailed out on the first one by a great catch. Decent throw and lamb scores.

Recent passer rating for the opponent QB against PurdyNiners:
Playoff game 2: Dak 62.0
Playoff game 1: Smith 98.9
Wk 18: Blough 87.3
Wk 17: Stidham 108.1
Wk 16: Heinicke 114.7
Wk 15: Smith 90.9

Quite frankly, Dak's passer rating doesn't show just how bad he was. He should have had another pick 6 that was dropped and he was just missing receivers left and right.

He made some huge throws and didn't turn the ball over. He did exactly what he had to do to win. Dak just plain sucked. He had 2 INTs but it could have easily been 4-5.

Remember, this offense has been tailored to Dak for 7 years. Purdy comes in and runs an offense as a rookie and he’s already playing the game faster than Dak.

He wasn’t intimated by the pressure the Dallas defense was giving him all day until they finally wore out.
Great point. We had an advantage vs a rookie QB. Purdy is not Brady. But Dak leveled the advantage by playing like a rookie, while the rookie played like a seasoned pro.

There is no point in cheering for this team with Dak. This is as far as he will ever get.

Purdy walked into the league better than Dak has ever been
So you are simply forgot about Dak rookie of the year season? Purdy walked into a good situation. He would have been a career backup if he didn’t get his chance with the Niners.

After the first int, he just didn’t trust throwing to the outside anymore.

Then the few times he did throw to the outside, there were chances. He only completed one pass and threw some bad balls when the wideouts actually had some separation.

He also missed Hilton for a gimme TD on a drive that only netted 3.

He killed us tonight...and has done the same in the past. When is a failed experiment finally called as such?
DOES NOT MEAN HE NEEDS TO BE THE STARTING QB....gotta be smart for once!!!

We could trade him in the off season. The Eagles and Rams did it with more expensive QBs. But we won't, sadly.
