Must adjust passing stats to era.

Passer rating, for example, probably should be bumped 6-8 points each decade.
And completion percent is the most misleading of all...... is beyond irrelevant unless compared to same time players because the offenses now make it way easier to complete a pass.

If I were only to include stats from 2000 to present then there would be 49 QB's with 100 pass attempts or more in the playoffs.

Dak:

12th in completion percentage

17th in passer rating

Tied for 24th in lowest INT percentage

19th in TD percentage

18th in lowest sack percentage

Tied for 26th in average yards per attempt.

The last stat is the only one in which Dak is not in the top half.....barely.

Additionally, of the 49 playoff QB's Dak is ranked 14th in average yards per carry. He is ranked 3rd overall in running success rate.

I am not expressing an opinion; I am stating a statistical fact when I say Dak is an above average playoff quarterback.

Some of these out in left field stats are outta control!

It's the overblown presentation of the stat that is the problem.

The stat is pretty impressive and tells a decent story-- Dak lead two come from behind drives in the 4th Q that also effectively assisted the Defense in protecting the lead, securing the W.

But the arbitrary cutoff of 15 plays is pointless. How many QBs have done this on 9 plays? 10 plays? How many did it in fewer plays but with more time elapsed? How many QBs lead the drive to the one and then had the RB punch it in? Or ran it in themselves?

This accomplishment was good, but it doesn't need to be presented as historic by narrowing the focus.

but she has helped so i dont look for self soothing....but after every cowboys game....usually my nerves are shot....and mr OG....i never would have thought a beautiful 60 year old

asian woman could look past all my crippledness and i dont have much money and fall in love with me....she has 20x the money i do...but she said we get married we are a team

Getting a 60 year old asian woman - who probably has no other options save her money - is too a form of coping and self-soothing - unless that's your thing. Just like when a woman with kids finds a sucker to take care of some other man's kids - again, unless that's your thing and/or you already love the children. All 3 - low self-esteem, woman using the loveable sucker, Cowboys fan who quotes useless stats - have to CONVINCE THEMSELVES of something.

mr OG---wife left me so i agree low self esteem......i can see a form of self soothing....but i was told for years no woman would ever like me.....so i was very surprised.....when cowboys

win its a form of self soothing...because i will watch highlights for a week....i literally have deep dislike for Jones family....especially promising us we go all out this year....he as usual

was probably half drunk on Johnny Walker blue label....how do Eagles keep reloading year after year and we limp to playoffs??...... but am hoping we play out of our minds tomorrow

and beat Lions before the bye
