Oh sure...lots of people voluntarily go to their boss and tell them to reduce their salary.

Hey, I think I'll do that tomorrow myself!

Oh wait.... nobody does that.
Big difference making millions and our salary dummy. He needs take 10 million less if he wants win since he’s not good enough to win without better players. Or keep losing

Can he sign for 1-2 more years for less to decrease his overall hit? He knows deep down he’s not worth 40-50 million. Do right thing man.
LOL… He will agree to a restructure, those don’t cost him a penny… But he will never reduce his guaranteed money.

Lol, Dak took the Jones boys clowns to the cleaners. He isn't giving up any money. The Jones boys will put the sell job on again on why they can win with Dak.

"He needs to VOLUNTARILY take 10 million less"

Wow, you ARE smart.

Say other smart things. Please.

This is gold.

Hey, how bout Jerry sends every cowboy fan 10 bucks as a "I'm sorry".

He's a billionaire. He can afford a couple hundred million.

Dak needs restructure and take less

And what is that going to accomplish exactly? You know what with him still being the QB and all

Brady consistently took less in NE so that he could keep the team stacked.

I don't know what they can do with Dak other than kicking more dead money into future years. I would spend some draft capital on a QB. If Dak misses time or is on a downward trajectory maybe they get a shot and don't give the job back.

Besides that they can infuse another WR into the offense, sure up the interior of the oline, and commit to some combo of Pollard and a rookie RB.

Dak knows he’s not getting another monster contract after this. He’s going to milk this for all
It’s worth.

Please for the love of God don't restructure and add more years. The rest of the division would love it if we did that.

I would. I want win. 25-30 million is range he should take. We need improve the team can’t with his outrageous hit. Just take less. Brady did it with the patriots. Dirk did it with the Mavs.
Ignorant post. So he should take less and trust in the worst general manager in the history of the NFL to build a quality team with the savings? What happened with all the wasted years on his rookie contract? Good luck on that flawed manner of thinking.

Don’t restructure. Start him one more year. Post-June-1st cut next summer. It’s only an $18M dead cap hit, and we can move on relatively clean. We’ll have some cap savings this summer after cutting Zeke and letting Dalton walk in FA.

Wow that would be perfect actually. So theoretically we cut him June 2024 we save 30 mil?

Thats why I'd try and see if you can draft his repalcement this year. Or at least draft a developmental prospect.

WRONG!!! The LAST thing the Cowboys want to do is kick Dak’s contract down the road! He has zero reasons to restructure, he’s not tradable and unfortunately, the Cowboys and the fans are stuck with him for 3 years! He’s going to be 49 million, 52 million and 22 million agains the CAP the next 3 years. Maybe they are willing to eat 22 mil. But i doubt it! Chances of him taking the Boys to a Super Bowl are very slim so our only option is to suffer the next 3 years out and hope we can land a QB Then and start all over again.:(:(:(
