the Jets with Rodgers, their RB and stout defense is not a team that I would put money on the Cowboys to beat next season
It's fine for you Romo lovers despite the fact that Dak isn't gonna end his career with a 2-4 record unlike Romo already has. No idea if you're a Romo lover or not, but if you are.... I guess it comes down to simply being about who you love or not.

I love the Cowboys and what many great past players did to create the brand……not the present players.

being disappointed in Romos playoff performances and Raynes performances are not mutually exclusive

lol. Practically every thread topic has been overly scrutinized, even when it has a teeny tiny connection with the quarterback position, since Troy Aikman retired.

See "Dak now the longest-tenured QB"

Reaction "SQUIRREL!"

He could convert the haters if he could/would convert more playoff opportunities into wins. It is all on him. He controls all of that in the fan's eyes.
The bottom inescapable truth is that our defense held the Niners to 19 points, 1 whole TD, 300 yards TOTAL offense and our offense led by Rayne Dakotas 2 INTs couldn’t score more than 1 TD the entire 60 minutes.

Prescotta came away with 12 whole points…….he is who he is.

Jets road game @ AT&T Stadium in 2023 - day and timecTBD
If the Cowboys win the game preceding this one, count on a loss……but if they lose before this game and Rodgers is in the Hospital in traction I think the Boys have a fighting chance

the win, lose, win cycle is very real here…….and Rodgers almost owns the Boys. 6-3 against us

One thing that tells you is that the other quarterbacks drafted in 2016, and in the years immediately preceding it, didn't play well enough to stick with their original teams (in some cases, even in the league). Here are the first round QBs for 2013-2016:

2014
Bortles (3)
Manziel (22)
Bridgewater (32)

2015
Winston (1)
Mariota (2)

2016
Goff (1)
Wentz (2)
Lynch (26)

to be fair to Teddy, the only reason that happened is his leg fell off. Not because he sucked.

That’s hard to fathom……but I guess when you think about it the best quarterbacks came a year or more after Dak. The legends are all gone. That happened rather fast. A big part of it is that when was the last good qb prior to Dak? Stafford?
