Twitter: Dak: Oh, I’m back

I believe he thinks 2016 is the outlier and when some people do things like this they like to remove the outlier to give a more "realistic" idea of what something is or isn't.

Like, if Dak threw 50 TDs in 2016 and then 20 TDs every year after, would you think he is closer to that 50 TD version or the 20 TD version? Yes, he did it once, but it's the outlier of the group and not a realistic representation of what he is or isn't because he hasn't been able to repeat it.

At least that's what I'm thinking he's thinking lol
but statistically speaking Dak has been fairly consistent and has been improving every year...in fact the only outlier of his stats is 4 Ints in a season. the QB rating is skewed as a result of that.....

now, if anyone wants to focus on wins and losses and put that on the QBs shoulders, that's another debate.....that's typical of some dak haters as they absolve everyone of any losses and put losses squarely on Dak...although you have in the past said wins/losses are a team thing, but you do use that in your arguments against dak...so not sure where you really lie on that issue as you have had conflicting posts.

...or like Dak fans demanding the inclusion of his 2016 rookie season to reflect a record of 42-27 because how dare anyone say Dak has a record of 29-24 since his rookie season.
so in your opinion all wins and losses are on the QB and nobody else bears any responsibility. right?

and why exclude 2016? oh, yeah, it doesn't support your argument...got it..pick and choose what ever and spin it however to fit my point of view....

Rejoice Dak Zombies as in week 3 we can beat the doggy Eagles!!!
Maybe I guess, cause you never know with Dak-Friendly????

42-27 mic drop

What mic drop? That without his rookie season which was carried by Zeke and a good defense that Dak has a 29-24 record? Oh yeah, some mic drop LOL When you keep bringing up 2016 to somehow support Dak you people are really reaching.

When you say his "best season" are you referencing his win total? Yes, his best win total is in 2016.

You referenced 2016 being Dak's best season....and isn't wins what matters and not his best statistical season of 2019 when he led Dallas to an 8-8 record?

Wins are all that matters but wins are also more than a Quarterback stat. I've seen Tony Romo have a good season and miss out on the playoffs. I've seen Rex Grossman have a poor season and make the Super Bowl.

Wow, when you're presented with facts you act like a butt hurt hating troll.

Just like I omitted 2017, I figured 2-1/2 seasons was enough data to counter Rock's claim that Dak doesn't play like crap.

But if you want to include 2017 & 2016 here are some examples:

2017

vs. DEN non-existent, led Dallas to 17 points plus had 2 INT's
vs. ATL non-existent, led Dallas to 7 points plus had 2 fumbles lost
vs. PHI non-existent, led Dallas to 9 points plus had 3 INT's and 1 fumble lost
vs. LAC non-existent, led Dallas to 6 points plus had 2 INT's
vs. SEA non-existent, led Dallas to 12 points plus had 2 INT's
vs. PHI non-existent, led Dallas to 6 points (a win due to a defensive shutout) and had a 56% Comp %

2016

vs. NYG non-existent, led Dallas to 19 points and had a 55% Comp %
vs. NYG non-existent, led Dallas to 7 points plus had 2 INT's

So you can add the above 8 games to the previously referenced 17 games for a total of 25 games out of Dak's career 69 games played wherein you can argue he played like crap for a 'played like crap' updated percentage of 36.2%.

Is it a team game, or does the QB play all positions, as well as coach?

Personally, I believe 2016 was his best season. He may not have put up his best stats that year, but I believe his efficiently was top notch that year and he's not been able to repeat it yet.

I believe the way he played in 2016 contributed greatly to the 13-3 record we had, because he wasn't trying to do too much. He was playing his role to perfection and it paid off.

He's gotten better as a QB, of course, but I loved the way he led the offense in 2016. That might be my personal preference though.

You can't control what others do. All you can do is control what you do. Set the example...set the bar.

Here is the guy whose posts you like setting the example:
