Twitter: Dak on Jake Ferguson: Let's move on

If you dropped passes that hit your hands in high school, you wouldn't get a scholarship to got to college.

If you dropped passes that hit your hands in college, you wouldn't get drafted into the NFL.

If your dropped passes that hit your hands in the NFL, you'll be benched or unemployed.
If you can't score TDs in the 1st qtr, you'll be benched or unemployed.

Unless you work for Jerry, of course!!!

They hit him square in both hands
Yeah, that was definitely DAK fault just like Turpin’s fumble
Some people would find a way to make Brandon Aubrey sending a kickoff out of bounds Dak's fault.

I mean when Dak deserves criticism, give it to him. Otherwise it's just some weird obsession for some people.

Dak is promoting that insular culture that tunes out constructive criticism. It's why he's blindsided every year for not being good enough while honest teams have improved over 17 games.

That weak approach to accountability that he promotes for Ferguson is the standard that he wishes to be judged by...that's all.

Exactly when he deserves it, give it to him, when it’s not his fault, don’t

On the other hand it makes no sense to keep grilling Ferguson for the drop; as if he's not aware of the implications. It's over. Move on. That's Dak's message here. It's like a cornerback dwelling on giving up a TD pass. Forget about it and fix it the next time.

So you're saying the whole offense should be benched or unemployed? That wouldn't make sense.

There are many teams that didn't score TDs in the 1st quarter sometimes, they don't get fired or benched. Hell Seattle didn't score TD in the whole first half last night I believe. I could be wrong.

Ferguson averages a fumble every 18 touches...for and above leading the league. He's a below average blocker. He's slow and is no RAC threat.

I don't mind Dak not publicly grilling his tight end. He also doesn't have to give him false reassurance that there is no accountability outside of the team. He has a weekly radio show appearance for crying out loud. You live by the sword you die by the sword.

I agree with you there. Ferg should be on the bench. I am just saying I am okay with Dak trying to bury the drop. Because we know (and Dak knows) this coaching staff isn't going to make a change with Ferguson.

And there's a small group, maybe a dozen people, who go on and on and on, reiterating the same ol' tired crapp, post after post, thread after thread, littering every thread w/ really dumb spew.

No idea, you had some weird spew I was simply responding w/ more weird spew!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saying receivers are supposed to catch the passes that hit them in their hands isn't "spew" my guy. Thats facts. Ask any coach or player at any level of football.

I knew something was wrong, back in the day people were celebrating a win against the Giants at the end of a season, like that was a grand accomplishment.
Remember the last game of the season some years back when Dak lead the team to a 6-0 win against the Iggs and their backups? It was like Dallas had just won the super bowl around here. It was.... wait for it..... "embarrassing".

How so?
Dak could have just walked away.
So you want to defend Dak even on this? Come on man.
I'm convinced Dak could run over his defenders dogs and impregnate their daughters and they would still be rushing to his defense

Just like he could do very good things in life and then he'd still be blamed for things that he didn't do or things thats not in his control.

Thats some weird **** huh.....

Yes, he is responsible for representing the team that he works for. Any boss would fire someone for saying something that could cost revenue.

He would have every right to say that if he wasn't at work
"The person who shouted "embarrassing" at Dak Prescott was a third-party contract transportation driver working at AT&T Stadium, rather than a full-time employee of the Dallas Cowboys.

You have every right to have your stance, same as anyone else. But did the guy say something that was obscene, profane, immoral, or abusive? Nope. The comment was very insignificant in the grand scheme of things. But Jerry and Dak don't like being criticized, and getting the guy fired, assuming he really was, seems very reminiscent of a certain fascist pre WWII country. Eliminate anyone who speaks out against the regime. Kind of like Jerry threatening media members with their jobs. That media member, by the way, was on the job when he made his comments, was that OK with you while this transportation driver doesn't have the same leeway?
