Of course you’re excited Dak…you are being grossly overpaid given your inability to lead this team deep into the postseason. Fairly or unfairly, all QBs are judged on playoff and Super Bowl victories…and you fall woefully short of the mark.
And why would you want to be anywhere else? You can be your consistently, inconsistent self and continue to lead this team to mediocrity for the remainder of your career while being rewarded handsomely for such a feat.

It goes both ways. In all honesty I’m dreading them restructuring Dak. I would rather eat the money this year, and if the thing goes to crap (the season) we have an out from both MM and Dak next season with hopefully a high pick we can use on Maye/Williams and a new HC. But that’s what smart FOs do.

We don’t have that luxury. So dumping on a QB In threads about tight ends or the defense makes no sense. The people who bring Dak up constantly keep calling people Dak over Dallas fans. Meanwhile we are in every thread talking about different situations that aren’t Dak related because that situation isn’t going to change. So why not discuss something new? Lol. When you incessantly bring up Dak to the point of it being almost stalkerish, that makes you more of a Dak over Dallas fan than anything.

Nah. They need to cap each position.

Each position has a max. If you’re the best at your position. You get x. If you’re top 3 you get Y. Etc.

The current landscape of contracts especially QB and WR isn’t sustainable
