Signed, sealed, and delivered.... boys.

Most of the "Dak is gone" thoughts are hinged upon whether he wants to be here or not. If he wants to be here, the deal is pretty much done - because he holds all the leverage... and we know Jerry will eventually give in. Stephen probably wants him here even more.

The only way Dak leaves is if he doesn't wanna be here. We know what the braintrusts of this team are gonna do.

Hahahaha! Dak has 0 chance of getting to a SB. Plays like a backup in the playoffs.

A culture of excuses, relaxed workplace with zero consequences, bar set at "hanging around the rim", Whataburger...of course he wants to be here.
Imagine having enough Talent to play in the NFL and you land with the Dallas cowboys. Sure you'll never get to the super bowl, but imagine the relaxed atmosphere, the state of the art facilities, the lame duck head coach, the amount of exposure. The opportunities when you retire. These players aren't hungry for anything and that's why they always quit in the first round of the playoffs. They're ready to go home.

He wants to be here because JJ et al hold on too long and it’s still the premier sports organization in the US where accountability is minimal and the pay for a lack of results is excellent. Just look at the GM. Not to mention all the side gigs and financial compensation a player can get away from football being the Dallas Cowboys starting QB. I highly doubt he cares as much about a SB as he does a big paycheck and contract. If he did he would play for starting QB chump change in order to help the team since 150+ million is more than anyone needs in a lifetime.

Yeah, just a matter of time. Looks like 5 years. He’s stated he isn’t necessarily trying to set the market so It’ll be in the $50-55 million range I’m thinking.

I want to be a Cowboy because "they pay for my mansion and Cowboys replica field".

I mean, I get it too..I'd personally want to grow my theater room/bar/and collectible area but that's just me.

Todd has done a survey of possible landing spots and told Dak "we gotta work Jerry and get this done. whisper sweet nothings to him, stroke that ego, maybe "accidentally" call him daddy. remind him how you will tow the line. Get it done.
