So was GB a good defense in 2016?Fans on this board say Dak never plays good against good defenses. He beat three teams last season with defenses ranked in the top seven.

My excuse? So now your excuse is the Packers defense in 2016? They were a middle of the pack defense just like ours. The Cowboys defense was ranked only a few spots of head of them. Besides our defense sucks in the playoffs. We had a top 5 defense last season and played like a bottom 5 defense in the playoffs.
Ranking wise they weren’t good or bad they were middle of the pack. How offensives and defenses are ranked during the regular season makes no difference in the playoffs. A perfect example was last season with our defense. Our D was ranked 5th and looked like garbage in the playoffs. So was GB a good defense in 2016?
Yea......thanksYou meant to say 180° I believe
Dude, you’re just looking for an excuse! They had a middle of the pack defense, just like ours and with the game on the line our defense caved. It makes no difference where their defense was ranked during the regular season. They were a 10 win team and were being led by one of the top 5 greatest QBs in NFL history and our defense couldn’t stop him like we couldn’t stop him two years earlier when we had a different QB. Their defense out played ours when it mattered. Rodgers had 355 yards and a couple of TDs and with the game on the line in the final seconds, completed a dart that put them in position for the winning FG. If the Cowboys had a different QB in that game you wouldn’t be looking for excuses, claiming they weren’t playing against a good defense. With Aaron Rodgers it makes no difference what kind of defense they have. In 2011 they went 15-1 with a historically bad defense that was ranked 32. Go waste someone else’s time.My excuse?
They were 21st ranked defense. They were 31st in yards given up and 29th buddy…. And they were that bad despite being 16th in attempts..
They allowed 406 yards to the Giants the week before, 448 to the awful Lions the week prior, 348 to the horrible Vikings and 451 to the awful Bears.
So tell me again, was the GB defense any good?

Hell no. Parsons goes bye bye in December and January. And your statement is fair, no problem. With that said.... since it is a team game, what about our other starters who are stars and played like backups in the playoffs?
Are they excused?
If coach jerry had played Romo in that game I think they would have won it.Dude, you’re just looking for an excuse! possibly.I’m pretty sure Dan Marino and Jim Kelly would have zero problems winning SBs in the last 8 years on the teams Dak’s been playing with buddy
yeah he wont have to, as Jerry is a caveman !! lolHe dont want to give up his digs and the cool football field i his back yard.
I don’t believe that for one second and don’t plan on arguing it very long. Aaron Rodgers shredded our defense for 355 yards. Once we got behind by two scores, Romo would’ve tried to get it all back at once. He would’ve been throwing balls up for grabs for Dez. Anytime we got down by more than one score in the playoffs or during an elimination game with Romo it led to a blowout loss. And don’t tell me that we wouldn’t have gotten behind with Romo or I’ll laugh out loud. When we got behind by two scores, Dak maintained his poise and didn’t try to get it all back at once. This was a big reason we got back into the game and had a chance until our defense choked. If coach jerry had played Romo in that game I think they would have won it.
They would have put up more points and ate more clock.
Romo matched up with Rodgers, better than dak. At that time dak was an under 200 yds a game passer.

There should be no sacred cows on this team, regardless of position.
More strawmen then the Wizard of Oz
What question?. . . my guyYou never answered the question my guy.... You're great at deflecting.
