Love Dak but give credit for this blowout to the defense.
Until the defense started collecting takeaways, the Cowboys offense was in trouble. The Colts defense weas playing them tough.
Seven of the first eight Cowboys drives of the game was six or less plays. Both first drives of each half were three and out. The Colts were murdering them on time of possession.
Only one of the first three Cowboys TD's were the result of a long drive. The 2nd and 3rd TD drives started on their 44 and the Colts 26.
Their fourth TD drive would have failed were it not for a 15 yard penalty against the Colts that came with an automatic 1st down.
The rest of the TD's were a result of excellent field position created by defensive turnovers and a demoralized Colts defense that continued to fight but weakened.
Of course, the offense made some great plays but if they had been restricted to starting field position inside their own 30, this game could have gone either way.
