We won the game. Enjoy it. Personal agendas and preferences are not as important as winning.

I'd rather be wrong about Dak, Elliot, Joseph, Ball, DLaw, Oddiggy, Bohanna and win a super bowl then be right about them and said I told you so.

Let's review this for a minute.......

Dak was drafted in the 4th round.

Goff was the overall #1 pick in the draft. Wentz went #2 overall.

Five more quarterbacks were taken before Dak Prescott

I wonder how many of those teams that drafted a quarterback before Dak wished they had drafted Dak instead..

Yes, Dak was better than Goff and you bet that is a significant fact even to this day.

Most of you acknowledge that Dak is better to the degree that you don't even consider it an achievement.

However, the fact remains. The vast majority considered either Goff or Wentz the best quarterback in the draft that year. Today, the vast majority believes Dak is the best quarterback drafted that year.

But the Cowboys only won by 18 points and Dak only threw for one TD and the Cowboy offense couldn't score until late in the game. It's ironic because, if they had just waited a little longer to start scoring Dak would then be hailed for his great come-from-behind victory. Funny how that works.

Another irony that might be relevant to older fans involves some games played in 1970 and 1971. The Cowboys beat the Cleveland Browns 6-2 and they beat the Detroit Lions in the playoffs 5-0. You know, if the internet had been around during that time, I doubt that fans would be remembering Roger Staubach with as much reverence. The low scoring victories wouldn't be a tribute to an historic defense, the Doomsday. No, it would be an indictment on the quarterbacks and how they did nothing.

Fans would be just as wrong then about Staubach as fans today are about Dak Prescott.

It's as if fans never realize that the opponent defense is trying to do to the Cowboys exactly what their defense is doing to opponents. Some of those defenses ae pretty good and all of them have the Cowboys at or near the top of their list of teams they would love to beat. Believe it. The Cowboys will always get their best effort because of perception. This is also something Cowboys players are going to have to accept and use as incentive to toughen up.

Some call this an ugly win. It isn't.

An "ugly" win, if you believe they exist, would be the Cowboys beating the Bills in the last seconds in a game where our quarterback threw 5 interceptions.

An ugly win happens in games where you were predicted to win easily, you made so many mistakes that you deserved to lose the game, but you won anyway. That didn't happen yesterday.

You saw an inspired, well coached, but beat up Lion defense play big in the first half and become fatigued in the 3rd quarter where the Cowboys offense begin to move the ball. You saw a great defensive effort once again by the Cowboys defense. They did to Goff what they have been doing to other quarterbacks almost on a weekly basis. Is Burrow really that bad? Is Daniel Jones really a bust?

Dak came back a little rusty, took a while to get started, and helped the team get to 5-2.

Meanwhile, the Commanders benched Carson Wentz and Dak looked better than Goff.

He was rusty of course but bottom line he outplayed Detroit's Goff and other QBs around the league including Tom Brady and this is after a 5 game layoff. I'm not disappointed with Dak whatsoever with his performance in the Detroit game.

If Dak had played against the Eagles we might have won.

Brady playing terrible right now. He's close to being washed up.

Clueless.

He is 9th in completion %
6th in passing yards.
8 tds to 1 int. (yes tds are low)

They are having all around offense issues. Failing o like, no run game, and the defense is coming apart. Even Brady's receivers are just dropping at the worst time.

Stop commenting off your 5 second espn highlights. Not 1 commentator or sports analyst has said that Brady is struggling. Frustrated? Yes. Their woes aren't on him.

Dak was playing against the worst defense in the NFL.

Goff played against one of the very best.

And it was about even.

There you go.

He outplayed Tom Brady. Look at that stinker he put up. Noone is talking about The GOAT playing like crap.
It’s one game and he hit Evans on the money for what woulda been a 60+ td. Dak has put up tons of stinkers, you guys just neglect them because he stat pads at the end of games during prevent time.
