News: Dak Prescott’s Use of Playaction and Shotgun

I just don't understand what people are seeing when the Cowboys are playing.

When I'm watching the offense, I'm on the edge of my Lazy Boy without blinking hoping and cheering when they move down the field.

When the defense is on the field, I hide behind the Lazy Boy and cover my ears with pillows and my eyes clenched as tight as possible in fear of what is happening on my 70 inch TV.

Then I come on here and I consistently read where Dak is the problem and the offense isn't good enough. But the defense is OK?

Either I no longer inderstand the game or I'm getting old really, really fast.

Except that this high school offense with the inept QB has scored 28, 30 and 31 points the last 3 games.

People focusing on the offense are completely missing where the problems on this team is.

I think its just people want to hate Dak. They think because of him Romo is in the booth. They think Romo would survive behind this line. Romo couldn't survive limited snaps in preseason. Dallas Cowboys made the right move. Dak played and is still playing good. He is not the problem. Are some of his passes off the mark? Yes but the offense is not the problem especially the last 2 to 3 games.

Maybe a year away from football help Tony Romo body heal, because at the rate he was getting injured constantly he would have to think about his life after football and his family.

The Cowboys defense has forced just 4 turnovers in the first 5 games (2 interceptions and 2 fumble recoveries).
That should read "forced just 3 turnovers" (all in the first 2 games) with "2 interceptions and 1 fumble recovery." They're giving the defense credit for Frederick's forced fumble and recovery on the last play of the game against the Packers.

No defensive takeaways in the last 3 games.

Always a thanks, Percy...I can't remember when I doubted you on points of fact.

Three weeks of futility. Way too long to be without a vision of integrated and intense play.
