Another problem is, as you saw in the second half of 2016, Dak and Dez were lighting it up together.

Then after a down year. Instead of our genius and highly talented coaching staff fixing the problem and getting the QB and WR back on the same page, they decided to make up a bunch of BS excuses and pretend they didn’t need a #1 WR.

The biggest problem was the knee jerk reaction by many of the people on here and in the "big media", the sole problem was Dez had lost it and was total garbage and needed to be shown the door

I'm not attempting to make this a Dak bash thread but does anyone else find it interesting that never for one second was it considered a possibility that Dak might have been the issue? That maybe after a fast start, he had hit a wall and teams had figured out a way to confuse him, and he was having trouble adjusting? Instead, the media, much of the fans, and apparently the team just decided that Dez had lost it and had to go. Basically 2 years removed from one of the most prolific stretches of WR production this decade, he was done. Finished. Shown the door.

Management and the fawning media were convinced they had found a shiny new toy and once that happened, the discussion was basically over. Gotta be honest, that type of thinking is destroying this franchise.

Agreed. And it’s not a Dak bash. Necessarily.

It annoys me because Dak and Dez were awesome together in 2016. The second half of the season they were lighting it up.

Then Dak, a young QB struggles and they cut his best WR? Instead of letting Dak and Dez work through the issues?

The whole “Dak and Dez can’t play together” nonsense was BS. Explain the second half of 2016 then.

Wasnt expecting a level-headed response like this, and I agree. His lead foot seems to always be out of position now, and I guess that's a response to increased pressure up the middle. Idk what to do. WE CAN WIN WITH A 2016 DAK AND IT IS INFURIATING

The video proves you 100% wrong ans it's literally right there.
 
His footwork, throwing mechanics and accuracy were all better his first year. How does that happen? His pocket awareness was even better. Maybe the O line being not very good the last season and a half has gotten into his head. He plays scared now.

In all seriousness, you're right that the problem is between his ears. His mechanics, accuracy, and ability to see the field don't seem to suffer when he's not under consistent pressure in a game.
