This was more of a final piece type move, but they wouldn’t have done it in that case anyway. See Wagner, Bobby (years ago)….as one small example.

Of course it comes down to money, but mostly about the usual….them overrating dudes like Tolbert and Brooks, at least partially because of the position coaches talking up the job they themselves are doing.
