Dak Prescott's first decade in the league deserves more respect....

This is so cringe. Show the playoff and SB numbers.

Dak didn't lose that 2016 game. He did help lose the 2023 game.

If you asked 1000 Cowboys fans which QB you'd want as the Dallas QB in the playoffs in their prime, 999 would say Brady.
I would say 998. Tom Brady is universally regarded as the greatest of all-time, but there are a few other quarterbacks I would put ahead of him on my list if they were in their prime--starting with Roger Staubach and Joe Montana.

What a stupid comment. Yes, you clearly still hate Dak. You just couldn't hold it in, could you? This is why I can’t trust you. Always with the sudden backstabbing remarks.

Why do you troll Cowboys fans with these Pro- Dak threads?
You're just siminlating rubbing salt in an open wound.
We know the Cowboys are stuck with him; why rub it in?
If you don't like it, leave!

Very simple. Just leave. It's not about only you and your feelings.

I simply meant between Dak and Brady.

No, I don't hate Dak. I just view Brady as a superior post-season QB to Dak and the stats don't lie. Regular season stats only get you so far. If you wilt in the playoffs...what good are regular season stats?

That being said, I don't think Dak would have wilted this year had they made the playoffs.

According to DAK HIMSELF, wins are a QB stat. Sooo, tell me, how many SB wins does Brady have...and compare that to even how many Divisional Playoff wins Dak has. Case closed.

Yeah, the 2023 Dak who outplayed Tom Brady in the playoffs and forced Brady to retire for good. But you would rather take that Brady?

Brady should've retired earlier. The narrative all that season was that Brady had waited too long. I've already previously provided links in another thread showing this to be so, where most of the board thought we would win the game against Tampa. Tampa Bay was a wild card team that didn't deserve to be in the playoffs who faced another wildcard team that didn't deserve to be there. We got embarassed the following weak with the offense being unable to produce more than 12 points.

2016 was fun.

2023 was dark . Like it’s just sports and all that but sheesh. Every player wanted to crawl in a hole.
2016 Dak had instincts which it seems like the Cowboys coached out of him. He would avoid sacks like Romo did, leading many here to speculate that he would be a greater player than he ultimately became. I take a player who plays off of instincts like that, who wins games because he doesn't know better in the playoffs, over the one who hesitates and has a reputation of being a deer caught in the headlights in those playoff games, any day. Its funny that some people see the 2023 Tampa Bay game as some kind of superbowl, when Tampa didn't deserve to be there. Not that we did, we just got lucky to be paired against them.

Quarterback does matter. A lot. However, I think boiling all of it down to one position is just so stupid and short sighted.

All of the teams winning playoff games usually play elite defense and are extremely well rounded.

I agree with you one million percent. Alot of people here treat quarterback wins and losses like this is boxing. Teams win and lose ball games.

What does this matter. Dak is not Brady. Brady is GOAT for a reason. You could continue this list with 20 something guiys who played this year. It's fruitless to keep up this argument. They aren't the same. Not even close.

Nobody in their right mind ever said that Brady and Dak were on the same tier. But placing playoff and Superbowl wins just to Brady's name as if he did it all alone is completely false. I do recall a great coach and great players on his team during that journey.

We had the weapons on offense. The problem was the stupid coaches. Guess who was a common denominator then and now when it came to play designs and play calls? Answer: Schotty. The guy choked royally and still does against the better defenses. No half time adjustments. No aggressiveness. No killer instinct. THAT is why this offense only scored 12 points against Green Bay in the 2023 playoffs.
