I liked the fact that he didn't have as much talent around him as most SEC schools, yet he elevated the program/team and was very successful in doing so.

Athletes(and coaches) are mostly judged on what they didn't do, when they should be judged on what they did do.

Romo is a prime example. He rescued a team from QB abyss but he'll always be judged as the guy who didn't win. Danny White as well.

But we live in a world where ESPN and now Twitter tells us to only love the ultimate winner.

On the draft show, the thing that stood out from what Broadus and Brugler said was that he improved significantly as a passer every year. This is unlike some of the other prospects (Hackenberg, Cook, etc) I like that about any player. Thought is was something we could develop. Never would have guessed he could accelerate that process.

I think we have Tim Tebow to thank. Seriously, had Dak not played a similar type of football in the same conference more teams probably would not have overlooked him.
Myself included.

One thing people forget, Dak was a 5th year senior. He didn't start until he was a redshirt sophomore. He developed at a nice slow pace. Now, I'm not saying all 5th year seniors would perform like Dak but I think it says something about the benefits of QB's getting a couple of years of more snaps in college......
