He'd be a huge setback for this team.

His draftpick will justify his presence on the roster for the next few years, giving the team the false hope that Romo's replacement is already in house. Then he'll waste another year on the field proving most of us right.

Well, at least he can't be worse than Quincy.

I don't think 34, but for sure they'll either trade down and take him or trade up from 3 to take him.

They'll make the mistake of thinking that because we covet him, other teams do too, so we'll make a major reach to ensure we get 'our' guy

I'm feeling the 2nd round trade down and then get him in the 50's.

yea, that's the danger in picking the wrong QB. tbh, if we don't take Wentz, Goff or Lynch, I'd be more than fine passing on a QB all together

Nothing against him, but would it make more sense to get a top end qb at 4 and then get a guy for the dline in the 3rd or 2nd? Which is more likely to work out.

The only reason there is to pass on Wentz/Goff and then to take a QB in the second or third round is if you think you know something the rest of the league doesn't and believe he'll be better. If that's the case, fine, just don't be wrong. If they wait till round 4, that means they aren't big believers themselves and are really just wasting the pick

Or if you are a guy like Sean Payton that can work tbe kinks out and get first round production from a 2nd or 3rd round QB. I just hope we know that we dont have Sean Payton

Hard to gauge Dak Prescott... Was a solid player at Mississippi State eventhough they didn't have a roster full of talent but I've seen him make plays against some pretty solid teams inthe SEC but also seen him look bad against good teams inthe SEC.

One thing for certain I would take him over Connor Cook all day everyday

PURE ignorance. Cook is by far the most NFL ready QB in the draft. Played in a pro style system, can make ALL the throws (unlike Prescott) and won a TON. His film is ten times better than DK, and as the article below confirms: unlike Prescott he had a great combine. You have no idea what you are talking about. LOFL

I don't think Lynch will fall to 34 but with Houston not needing a QB now that eliminates them.

On the flip side of that coin, the Broncos now very much need a QB, and they are in an ideal position to draft Lynch (just before pick #34) if they so choose.
