Rookie quarterback sensation Dak Prescott has had the perfect response to success and failure all season so why would it be any different now that he has been named to the Pro Bowl.

He credited his teammates, especially fellow Pro Bowlers in center Travis Frederick, guard Zack Martin and tackle Tyron Smith, for his success.

“It’s humbling,” Prescott said. “But I definitely wouldn’t be able to do it without this team. Obviously, those three guys up front who made pro bowl, I mean, Dez, all of my receivers, Cole playing at a high level this year, Zeke a Pro Bowl running back, I’ve obviously got great playmakers around me that allow me to have fun out there.”

I almost feel like a homer saying Dak is going to be a great QB for a long time, but really, this kid is unbelievable.
I started reviewing draft prospects recently, but I just keep thinking that Mental Makeup is or has become the top priority and I don't have the ability to review that. There will be some info on Mental Makeup in the draft reports but only the teams can really get all the info to figure that out. QB is the #1 position were mental makeup is absolutely critical. Look at Cam Newton. He melted down during/after the Super Bowl despite having great athletic ability. Hundreds of QBs have had better "arms" than Joe Montana but Aikman says Joe was the best ever.

Having said that, in the later rounds I fine taking a chance on player with questionable Mental Makeup. It's the top 3 rounds where problem child type players should be avoided.

Leaders at the QB position spread the accolades to their teammates when things are going well and take the blame upon themselves when things are not.

Dak seems to be that type of leader.
