If you would have said Dak is slower than hurts I have no problem with your post. recall early career deck did run the ball then he started getting injuries. This ego thing I'm not sure Mr. psychologistDak is a liability. It was on full display during the season opener. Both QBs were in a similar situation but reacted very differently. Under pressure, Hurts put the Eagles on his back and successfully ran for constant first downs. In contrast, Dak, in the exact situation, allows his ego as a passer to dictate his action. Running with the ball never enters his mind. Even after several dropped passes, his ego doesn't allow him to see that he has a clear path to run for a first down.

I think you are on to something. Dak did run the ball early in his pro career, but then he got hurt. If the injuries are a factor in Dak no longer running like he once did, then that is a psychological issue that Dak needs to overcome. His fear is limiting him to just being a passer. If you would have said Dak is slower than hurts I have no problem with your post. recall early career deck did run the ball then he started getting injuries. I disagree. He would run with the ball just fine in his early career, but then he got injured, and now he is reluctant to do so. It's not that he can't do it; he's scared to do it. That's a liability.Dak can’t run… His top speed is ok but his acceleration is terrible.
It takes time, JK. At least, Dak ran this time. As he gains more confidence, he will run more.I think you are on to something. Dak did run the ball early in his pro career, but then he got hurt. Yeah I saw an article saying it looked like he did in Pitt…you see a lot of burst if he thinks the ball is coming his way…if not you get nothing.I saw a lot of lackadaisical from Pickens.
Especially on run plays.

Part of the reason why he's not a top 25 receiver, I suppose.Yeah I saw an article saying it looked like he did in Pitt…you see a lot of burst if he thinks the ball is coming his way…if not you get nothing.
Dak isn't Hurts. Running is going to shorten his season. It takes time, JK. At least, Dak ran this time. As he gains more confidence, he will run more.
Understood, but there will be opportunities where Dak can run 3-5 yards and slide if they open up in front of him. Dak needs to take those freebies.Dak isn't Hurts. Running is going to shorten his season.
He had one scramble in the first half that he looked like he was running in mud. I think Dak just isn't a very good runner anymore.I disagree. Are you serious......Two entirely different QBs playing to their strength. Both could be right...Dak is a liability. It was on full display during the season opener. Exactly....he was never fast but now I think we may see him using his feet ( not legs ) a little more. Similar to Romo ( who understood the impact of avoiding a sack with a few steps within the pocket)Unless your looking forward to Joe Milton under center I would think you want limited Dak runs or scrambles
The scramble he had in first half was brilliant but he’s too slow and has too many lower extremity injuries
Dak is now a pocket passer like it or not.
I’m more concerned with oline blocking and why sanders is even on the roster
