Good leaders will lead you off a cliff if they aren’t good at the actual job that needs to get done. Who care if your QB says all the right things after a loss when he isn’t even trusted to throw the ball on 3rd and 6 in the redzone in the 4th quarter when you are down by 3 points and follows that up with a 2 yard pass on 4th and 3. It’s not that hard to be a good leader and an average QB at the same time. Dak is living proof.

As you can see, he's had 2 awesome streaks. He's not..... descending. People are just nervous right now because we're currently on a bit of a losing streak, trying to snap out of it, but the evidence from his past resume suggests that he can easily go back to when he was hot.

You go back and forth in this sport. I hope that's not too hard to understand.

Thanks for the illustration. If you look at his record against winning teams , and his 3rd down conversions , he has been consistently bad and descending . No other way to put it . 12-16 other QBs right now in the NFL playing better than him . And for a team with many holes , the cowboys can not afford to give him 35-45 mil . Try to process that fact ...

This week the Dallas offense looks like the best in the league and Dallas wins.

At Seattle the offense reverts back to being below average and Dallas loses.

Week four the Dallas offense is the best again, Dallas wins. Same in week 5 vs NY.

Week 6 against Arizona on Monday night Dallas plays game similar to Minnesota last year. Don't make enough plays in the end and lose. Nobody's fault, good game.

Dallas wins a tough games versus Washington and Philadelphia.

Dallas lays a Buffalo type egg versus Pittsburgh.

Even with a bye week Dallas still can't get a win versus Minnesota.

Dallas then romps against Washington.

Dallas loses to Baltimore

Beats Cincinnati.

Loses to San Francisco.

Dallas must win the last two weeks to stay alive and do.

They make the playoffs at 9-7 and are bounced in the wildcard round making for an very interesting offseason.

Qbs get coordinators and coaches fired because everyone thinks the player is a winner and will always succeed if everyone else does everything right 100% of the time

His speech is old . His play is lacking . The NFL has 12-15 QBs that are better than Dak . Unfortunately, he may still be getting a team crippling contract if he plays mediocre again due to the hype and politics.
