Dak said we were about to see his best football this season. The entire team sucked, that's for sure. But the defense will always suck if the offense can't stay on the field at all. It exhausts a defense fast to always be on the field. Our offensive gameplanning is terrible. It won't get our receivers separation, however, Dak isn't rolling out and calling audibles to help. The only player we can't complain about is our kicker. But our kicker isn't getting paid 60 million a year to make a difference.
Who thought it would be a good idea to go into the season with these running backs? And this defensive line? And these receivers? I just don't understand. Jerry has surrounded himself in an echo chamber.

And every person that we've extended in the last couple of years played like crap today. Absolute crap. Let's stop handing out these extensions just because you somewhat hit on a draft pick, jerry. We remember those drafts from the mid-90s.

Steel, digs, martin, dac, and I'm sure I'm forgetting one person, lawrence, all played like crap. Well Lawrence didn't play but he has never lived up to the extension.

Does he not see a pattern of handing out these extensions and production just hitting the floor?

when you rush for 15 yards in one half of a game....I can devise a defense to neutralize most NFL QBs...just drop 7 into coverage every time or blitz the heck out of them, because I know they are just going to drop back and pass the ball.

did dak play well. heck no. but our DL was getting blown downfield for 5 yards each running play. our OL was getting pushed back and had holes every where.

cooper rush played against a bunch of back ups in a game that was decided loooonnnnggg before.... I would look almost as good. trust me.

seriously!!!!
trust me, I know football and players and no matter how much you pay him, Dak is not taking us to a Superbowl.

you can;t BUY enough help to get him there, with his 60 million contract. if I want to see mediocre or bad season after season, Cooper Rush will do just fine... and we MIGHT be able to afford a cast to help him.

if you want a grreat QB, we are going to need to go out and find one.

but nope, you all told jerry pay him 60 million, and now we are stuck with this BS for the next 4 to 5 years.

9 points. Every time the defense struggles this offense curls up and goes fetal under Daks "leadership"

I know it's Dak's fault we ran for 16 yards in the first half for 1.5 yards a carry compared to 8 yards a carry for the Lions.

Dak has to work on that.

he must have been too busy remodeling his home this past week to study up on the Lions...

Who is going to call out this horrendous O-line? Did they throw a legit block all day? Tom Brady in his prime wouldn't have thrown a TD pass today behind them.

And anyone who doesn't think that Jerry deliberately tanked this team from the moment the final whistle blew against Green Bay last January is dreaming.

The chickens have come home to roost.

I think the point is when you pay an aging, regressing mediocre QB 200 plus million you obviously can't field an all star supporting cast. If you're going to pay the man like you would Tom Brady he better make something happen. Once again he didn't and won't be cause he's trash.
the cap is nothing but an excuse for Jerry and you have fallen for it. Jerry could have as easily signed Henry, but chose not to. instead he chose Zeke who probably couldn't get a job anywhere else and 4th string RB called Dowdle.

Jerry chooses not to sign players. the cap room hasn't been a problem for past 8 years. no different than any other team in NFL, but somehow they do it.

Nobody on the offense played well today. Whenever you see the "deer in headlights" version of Dak in the first half though, you know the game is cooked.

I moved onto productive things today once this game got out of hand and I'm happier for it. We had a chance before he threw the pick in the end zone.

just Dak? you think Dak was a dud, as opposed to the RBs, that were oh, so great. and the OL, that was pushing the Lions DL, 15 yards down field and the defense, that was so great against the run and the pass. so just Dak was a dud?

it was the whole freaking team that was a dud....this is one of the absolute worst rosters in the NFL.
cant argue....feel so depleted
