Which is fair but your opinion, deservedly, counts for less than players, coaches, scouts, and executives, because if you had their knowledge you would be getting paid for it rather than talking about it.
I don't want to make this a lengthy debate, but I disagree. An opinion is subjective reasoning and is influenced by personal biases, which even players and experts can have. For example, Eagles players would put Hurts above Dak, and Cowboys players would put Dak above Hurts. And even experts can be wrong when they give an opinion, if not, every drafted player would succeed and there would be no busts, ever. Obviously, you and others might value a player's opinions over mine. Understandable, but that does not in any way evidence which opinion is right or wrong. You assume a player's opinion might be more right than mine. That is also an opinion.
And I am curious, in 2022 Hurts was in the running for MVP. In 2023 no one seriously considered him for MVP given his, and the Eagles, collapse. In the meantime, Dak was runner in the running for MVP in 2023. Is my opinion that Hurts was better in 2022 and Dak was better in 2023 really that controversial? And how does this MVP voting square with the opinions of the players? Obviously, some of the experts got it wrong because the both can be right.
